C ODE OF ETHICAL C ONDUCT

As a condition of being permitted to serve as a volunteer or paid worker for Fenty 2010 ("the campaign"), I agree to
abide by the following requirements during the term of my service:

1. I will treat every person I meet with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

2. I will hold in confidence any non-public information provided to me in the course of my duties with the
campaign and ensure that such information is used exclusively for purposes of the campaign.

3. I will conserve and protect any property entrusted to me, and shall not use property, other than for purposes
directly related to campaign activities.

4. I will direct any questions I receive from the media to the campaign and will not speak with members of the
media unless authorized to do so by the campaign.

5. I will not offer or provide anything of value to a person to encourage or induce that person to register or vote.

6. I will not engage in any political activity on behalf of the campaign within 50 feet of a polling place or inside a
polling place.

7. I will not intimidate, threaten, or coerce a voter. I will not interfere with the process of voting in any way and I
will not communicate with voters while they are in the process of voting, unless I have been specifically asked
by the voter to assist him or her.

8. I will abide by any instructions given by election officials and law enforcement personnel at the polling place.

9. I will immediately report the following to the campaign:

a. When I see the instructions given by election officials and law enforcement personnel being ignored;

b. When I see any voter being intimidated, threatened, or coerced, or the voting process interfered with in
any way;

c. When I see anyone engaging in political activity on behalf of any campaign within 50 feet of a polling
place or inside a polling place;

d. When I see anyone offering or providing anything of value to a person to encourage or induce that
person to register to vote;

e. When I receive questions from the media;

f. When I witness an altercation between a campaign volunteer or worker, and a volunteer or worker from
another campaign.

I understand that my commitment to abide by these requirements may be made public. I will seek guidance from the
campaign, as appropriate, if necessary to ensure compliance with these standards of conduct. I furthermore acknowledge
that failure to comply with the above provisions may result in my dismissal from the campaign and that other sanctions
may be imposed as appropriate.
