Please briefly present your organisation and tell us what it makes your NGO so relevant to be chosen for this
project (any specific expertise on the topics or in general project management and implementation – graphics,
web…)

Youth association of Trakai region joins together young proactive people. Members
of organization try to expand occupation of young people, bring new alternatives
of spending their free time, create appropriate conditions for young people and
members to improve and grow like creating, thinking and acting personalities. We
try to develop valuables of moral and culture, work and art skills, educate about
importance of action, non-formal learning, healthy-lifestyle, volunteer work and
sport in our lives.

What are the activities or services provided to young people of your community and what is the experience of
the organisation in the areas relevant for this application? (Please do consider the theme of this application,
general description will not be taken in consideration)
Promotion of non-formal education, expansion of competences and effective use
of potential of young people trough participation in youth exchanges and volunteer
projects. Developing new pedagogical methods and putting them into practice.
Participation in National, European and international educational activities and
programmes. Organzse community beneficial educational and socio – economic
initiatives in the field of community youth participation and active citizenship.
Helping to establish the development of a national and international volunteer
movement. The Promotion of innovative educational programs.

Organizational skills: Organization of activities, seminars and trainings and

participation in such kind of activities.
Promotional skills: Promotion of positive attitude towards life, creation of
appropriate conditions to grow, broadens knowledge and eyeshot, formation of
moral and cultural values.
Our participants are perfectionists, who are seeking that every work would be
made expeditious and immaculately. Our volunteers are people who seek to
improve by every step and turn problems into challenges and opportunities. Our
volunteers offer the helping hand and ready to lead young people included into
association.

We organise seminars or meetings with young people in schools or youth day centres and we share
this information on social network.
What about impact? Which stakeholders you are able to involve in the process? Can you mention any
Stakeholders you already work with?
As we work with schools our methods of non formal education are used in formal education
programme.
In which area of the project you feel your organization would be able to cooperate and how?
(for ex. Creation of logo, poster, social media management, communication plan, visibility plan,
development of websites, materials….)

Members of our organisation can help to organise materials for the training activities, We have youth
trainers who are active in the field of promotion of human rights.
