Narrative On 02/17/2018 Lamar S. Wiggins was taken into custody by Drug Task Force
Investigators from the Potsdam Police Department following a search warrant
stemming from an investigation into the distribution of narcotics in the Potsdam
area. Wiggins was charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled
substance third degree and arraigned in the Town of Potsdam Court. Wiggins
was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional facility where he is being
held without bail. The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
Investigators were assisted by Task Force members from the Massena Police
Department, Ogdensburg Police Department, Norfolk Police Department, St.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
