THE  ZONTA  CLUB  OF  BENDIGO  

Invites  nominations  and  applications  for  the  
2018  WOMEN  OF  ACHIEVEMENT  AWARD  
Nominate  a  woman  who  has  for  many  years  made  a  significant  contribution  to  her  
community.  

In  2018  nominations  can  be  for  one  or  more  of  three  categories:  
1. Visionary  leader:    a  major  voice  in  the  concept/design  and  implementation  and/or  promotion  of  a  
project  to  solve  an  issue  or  community  need;  or,  providing  the  leadership  to  implement  someone  else’s  idea.  
2. Community  work  or  volunteer:  one  who  volunteers  for  more  than  one  activity,  but  doesn’t  
take  the  lead.  She  devotes  hours  to  getting  the  "job"  accomplished.  You  can  count  on  her.  She  is  reliable.  
3. A  mentor:  a  woman  who  has  mentored  other  women,  built  relationships,  shared  skills  and  knowledge  
in  a  respectful  way,  based  on  mutual  respect  over  a  number  of  years.      This  might  be  a  formally  or  informally  
but  must  demonstrate  the  process  has  made  a  difference.  
 

Nominees  could  win  the  Zonta  Women  of  Achievement  Award.

Nominations  close  Thursday  22nd  of  February  2018.  
The  awards  will  be  presented  at  the  Zonta  International  Women’s  Day  Dinner    
on  Tuesday  6  March  at  the  All  Seasons  Convention  Centre
