The company using matrix organizational structures divided into departments such as
Customer Development Department, Supply Chain, Brand Development & Building,
Innovation, HR, Finance, IT, Legal & PR. Each department led by Vice President, although for
a joint plan is led by a project manager.

They starting from the supply chain management by focusing on productions, planning,
planning shipment, negotiating with a new & exisiting suppliers, storing/storage, monitoring
and improving level of customer service.
Compatitive Advantage

Brand development & Brand Building work together the marketing department to create
brand concept and develop new brand and considering the cost factor according to the
volume sales for a period of time. Then, the factories in Rusia, Ukraine, and Belarus try to
compete to provide the most efective gain in term of production volume.

Unilever is the world leader of FMCG groups. The company products are sold to more than
1700 countries. The company focusing on implementing innovations & creating new
products in all consumer segment. Unilever approach is an open innovation which help to
new ideas all over the world.

The company has a linear functional structures divided into 3 prominent departments such as
commercial, productions, and logictics which have their own functional head. The commercial sector
is divided into their specific regional departments such as Eastern, Central, Key Chains, and Moscow
departments.
Inmarco strategies against competitor is by meeting the needs of customer better than the
competitior. They do this by the logistics sector ensuring ontime delivery to retail chain throughout
the distribution network and they also used expensive specialize transportation equipment and
special low temperature storage facility to maintain the quality of the ice cream.

Compatitive Advantage

The strategies is focuses on the higher level brand awareness. The focus on selling branded ice-cream,
in middle and middle-top price segment. Their key brand are promoted by ATL and BTL as a major
advertising company.

Inmarco is the leader in retail segment in terms of total number of retail trade unit and its distribution
network is supperior to that of its Russion competitors. Inmarco owns over 20,000 chamber and on
the largest Russian fleet refrigerated trucks.
