QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES FOR MANAGEMENT

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course aims to help the students to develop the expertise needed for decision making in
today's technological era. It enhanced the decision making ability of the researcher, after
having good understanding of various statistical tools required in research and management.
The main topic includes Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Probability and Probability
Distribution, Time series and Forecasting.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course the student will be able to:

 Identify and diagnose the problems.

 Apply the appropriate quantitative techniques for solving problems.

 Apply various quantitative models in research.

 Interpret results obtained by the application of various tools.

 Decide the appropriate course of action based on the quantitative analysis performed.
