- Most have V fib

- Resuscitation is successful if defib in first 5 minutes

Sudden collapse – cause by arrhythmia

Sodium bicarbonate – not for ET

First degree av block – more than 20 sec’

Second degree av block

Type 1 / wencheback – normal p wave but pr interval is prolonged

Type 2 – progressive lengthening of pr interval followed by drop beats

Mixed- normal pr interval followed y a drop beat

Ventricular tachycardia

- Most common cause of sudden death
