BOIL WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP Applicable Date: Tuesday, February 27, 2018 @ 4:00 p.m. Effective immediately, the Charter Township of West Bloomfield is required to issue a Boil Water Advisory for its Residents and Businesses in the areas of East of Hiller and North of Greer Roads. ‘Wellington Woods # 1 & # 2, Wellington Meadows and Woodlands of West Bloomfield Subs. ‘These locations in the Township have lost water pressures less than 20 P.S.1. Repair crews are currently working to resolving the water s ated issue of the 16” diameter transmission main, located along Greer Road. Mix well and let the water stand for 30 minutes before use. Other Steps: # Do not drink tap water. # Do not use tap water to m ake drinks, formula, juices or fountain soft drinks. © Wash your hands and bathe/shower as usual. Bathing is safe as long as absolutely no water is swallowed. © Wash laundry as usual. Laundry that is washed in hot or cold water is considered sale. ‘What To Do After The Advisory Ends? © Turn on your tap slowly and run the water to flush water pipes for 5 pinutes. © You may need to clean appliances such as water softeners, filter units, waste dispensers and ice makers.
