The testimony of the witness Corina is being offered to prove the:

1. The illicit relationship of the the complainat with the accused;

I, MA. CORINA GUEVARRA, 30 years old, married, Filipino, and residing at No. 8 acacia street.,
Lavista Quezon City, under oath, depose:

1. Q – Please state your name, age, residence, and occupation of the witness.

A– I am MA. CORINA GUEVARRA, 30 years old, married,

residing at No. 8 acacia street., Lavista Quezon City, and a Teacher.

2. Q- Why are you here now?

 A – To give a sworn statement by way of a judicial affidavit, the
same to constitute as my direct testimony, in the above-captioned
criminal case.

3. Q- For the record, please state the name and address of the
Lawyer who is now conducting or supervising your
examination and the place where the examination is being held now?

A – The legal counsel for the plaintiffs, Atty. GLENN M. ERLANO,

is conducting or supervising my examination now at his law office
(AQUINO, BONILLA, CASTILLO, ERLANO, AND ANGELIQUE LAW OFFICES) located
at: Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City

4. Q – In what language do you want your examination to be conducted?

A – This judicial affidavit is prepared in English.

But I prefer that my cross examination be conducted in

Tagalog for my convenience and for clarity.

5. Q – Do you undertake to answer the questions to be asked of you, fully conscious

that you will do so under oath, and that you may face criminal liability for false
testimony or perjury?

A -Yes.

6. Q – Let us now proceed. Do you know the complainant

A – Yes. She is a friend and my neighbor.

7. Q – How long have you been friends and neighbors and how close your relationship
with one another

A – For about 5 years now since our house are located in the same area and we are
also co-teachers. We often confide with each other regarding work and family related
problems .

8. Q- Do you know the defendant in this case,

A – Yes. He is a neighbor and a common friend with the complainant. She is the one
who introduced him to me.

9. Q - Why are your testifying in this case?

A – I am testifying in this case because I believe the defendat is innocent of the

accusations against him because I know that they have been together for a year
now.

10. Q - What do you mean that they have been together for a year now.

A – They have a romantic relationship with each other

11. Q - Why did you say so?

A – Because the complainant, told me about their relationship when I confronted her
about a certain instance when I saw the two of them walking out of a motel. In which
I advise her to end the same as it will create a big problem.

12. Q - What did she said?

 A – She said that she cannot end the relationship because she is madly inlove with the
accused.

2. He faithfully recorded or caused to be recorded the questions he asked and the

corresponding answers that the above-named witness gave;

3. Neither he nor any other person then present or assisting him coached the witness regarding the
latter's answers; and
