Methods of Research
The researcher will utilize the descriptive method. Descriptive method is used to describe
and it’s describing or classifying without expressing feeling or judging. Descriptive method can be explained
as a statement of affairs as they are present with the researcher having no control over variable.
Research Locale
The school of the respondents is at Balucuc High School located in Centro BalucucApalit
Pampanga. Balucuc High School is a idyllic place of learning. Balucuc High School is a company engage in
public high school. Balucuc High School was established way back in 1976. It was the second of the oldest
Barangay schools in the Municipality of Apalit Pampanga. It name derived itself from the word Balucuc
which also the name of the barangay. It is situated in the outskirt from the town proper and located in the
midpoint of the sitios. It is surrounded by a scenic beauty of an expansive countrified field that reflects the
people’s livelihood.

Gadgets on grades
Based on the students, when they use their gadgets it has a two outcome it’s either low or high.
Low grades has a percentage of 63, high grades has a percentage of 37. In this table it shows that when
students use their gadget it can affect their academic performance or grades.
Exposure of gadgets
Based on the students, when they use their gadgets it exposed their usage of it. It’s either thirty
minutes to one hour, two hours to four hours, five hours to nine hours and ten hours and above. In this
table it shows that students exposure has an effect of their academic performance.
Gadgets on attendance

Based on the students, when they use their gadgets it affects their attendance in school. It’s either
being absent or late or being on time. Being absent or late has a percentage of (57) and being on tim has a
percentage of 43. In this table it shows that gadget has an effect of student’s attendance.
Use of gadgets
Based on the students, they use their gadgets in different way like searching, leisure, and
entertainment. Searching has a percentage of 80, leisure has a percentage of 3 and entertainment has a
percentage of 17. In this table it shows that the use of gadget has an effect of students academic
performance.
