Company History

1971 - Company was formed by a local investment group.


1977 - First company in the region to offer corporate jet charter and management with the Learjet.
1984 – Management participated in the formation of Questair, Inc.
1987 - Established a small package freight company (Mid-Atlantic Freight, Inc.).
1997 - Received DAS (Designated Alteration Station) certification. This authorization allows us to
make major modifications to aircraft with little direct involvement from the FAA during the process. We
are the seventh DAS to be awarded in the history of the FAA Southern Region.
2000 - Began design and development support for VLJ aircraft project.
2003 – Opened 14,000 S.F. dedicated manufacturing facility for STC and PMA parts.
2003 – Opened aircraft seat and upholstery facility.
2003 – Opened aircraft cabinet, seat and upholstery facility.
2005 – Became major outsource maintenance facility for FlexJet on Challenger 300, Challenger
604,Learjet 60, Learjet 45 and Learjet 40. Includes cabinet and upholstery refinishing.
2008 – The Kernersville Manufacture Facility is awarded ISO9001:2000 + AS9100B
