Company Policies
EMPLOYMENT POLICY
We recognize that employee development and welfare is vital to the success of our
company, and all the employees are considered part of Likha Creatives family. Our
employment policy ensures that:
The safety and health of our employees is this company’s most important
business consideration. No employee will be required to do a job that they consider
unsafe. The company will comply with all applicable Philippines workplace safety
and health requirements and maintain occupational safety and health standards
that equal or exceed the best practices in the industry.
The company will establish a safety committee, consisting of management and
labor representatives, whose responsibility will be identifying hazards and unsafe
work practices, removing obstacles to accident prevention, and helping evaluate
the company’s effort to achieve an accident-and-injury-free workplace.
The company pledges to do the following:
1. Strive to achieve the goal of zero accidents and injuries.
2. Provide mechanical and physical safeguards wherever they are necessary.
3. Conduct routine safety and health inspections to find and eliminate unsafe
working conditions, control health hazards, and comply with all applicable
Philippines safety and health requirements.
4. Train all employees in safe work practices and procedures.
5. Provide employees with necessary personal protective equipment and train
them to use and care for it properly.
6. Enforce company safety and health rules and require employees to follow
the rules as a condition of employment.
7. Investigate accidents to determine the cause and prevent similar accidents.
Managers, supervisors, and all other employees share responsibility for a safe
and healthful workplace.
Management is accountable for preventing workplace injuries and illnesses.
Management will consider all employee suggestions for achieving a safer,
healthier workplace. Management also will keep informed about workplace
safety-and-health hazards and regularly review the company’s safety and
health program.
Supervisors are responsible for supervising and training workers in safe work
practices.
Supervisors must enforce company rules and ensure that employees follow
safe practices during their work.
Employees are expected to participate in safety and health program
activities including, immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices,
and accidents to supervisors or a safety committee representative, wearing
required personal protective equipment, and, participating in and
supporting safety committee activities.
QUALITY POLICY
At Likha Creatives, our commitment is to never compromise on the safety,
compliance and quality of our products and services. This requires everybody to be
engaged, to understand their responsibility and to be empowered to take action in
order to protect individuals and families, our customers and our brands.
At Likha Creatives, our Quality Policy summarises the essential elements of our
commitment for excellence and includes:
1. Fostering a quality mind-set with the objective of developing and providing
products and services with zero defects that are trusted and preferred by
individuals and families and deliver on our promise to enable happier lives,
2. Complying with relevant laws and regulations as well as internal
requirements,
3. Continuously challenging ourselves to improve the quality management
system to guarantee product safety, prevent quality incidents and eliminate
defects through the review of quality objectives and results,
4. Encouraging participation and promotion of quality responsibilities amongst
all employees and third parties through standards, education, training and
coaching, supervision and effective communication.
Only people appropriately authorized, for Company purposes, may use the
internet to access and download additional software. This authorization is
generally exclusive to decisions that the IT department makes in conjunction with
Human Resources.
PRIVACY POLICY
Likha Creatives is committed to complying with Republic Act 10173 or the Data
Privacy Act of 2012, and its implementing rules and regulations. We take our
customer’s privacy seriously and we will only collect, record, hold, store, disclose,
transfer and use your personal information as outlined below.
The Company attempts to pay competitive wages and salaries with those
businesses in our community and industry. Wages and salaries are classified by
position based on experience, responsibility, and physical and mental demands.
Management reviews salary ranges once per year and makes any adjustment
deemed necessary. Ask your manager, accounting or supervisor if you would like
to know the ranges for your position.
Overtime Pay
All overtime must be authorized and directed by a supervisor. Non-exempt
employees are paid time and on half for authorized hours in excess of 12 hours in
one day and 40 hours in one week.
The maximum amount of overtime, which may be scheduled for any employee in
any 24-hour period, is eight (8) hours. The maximum overtime that may be
scheduled for any employee in any work week (Sunday through Saturday) is twenty
(20) hours.
Payday
Payroll weeks begin on Sunday and end on Saturday. Employees are paid weekly
on following Friday. If you turn time cards in late, you will be delayed in receiving
your paycheck.
Pay Advances
Payroll Deductions
Payroll deductions are made from each paycheck to comply with federal and state
laws and certain benefits. Deductions will be made for:
At the beginning of each year you will be supplied with a W-2 which summarizes
your income and deductions for the previous year.
All prices and specifications in our catalog are subject to change without
previous notice and are F.O.B. warehouse, unless quoted otherwise. Prices should
be verified when placing your order.
ORDERING INFORMATION
When placing your order, please use our Order Numbers. The use of the proper
and complete order number will facilitate prompt and accurate delivery of your
order. Unless otherwise specified, all items not shipped are considered cancelled.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Customers should send specific shipping instructions. If this is not done we will use
our own judgment.
RETURN POLICY
2. Goods returned in boxes other than original or incomplete may not be eligible
for full credit.
4. Goods returned after 15 days will insure a 15% handling and restocking charge.
INSURANCE
The buyer assumes all responsibility for risk of loss or damage after merchandise is
shipped from our warehouse. Unless payment is by confirmed irrevocable Letter of
Credit or cash in advance, the Company reserves the right to obtain all risk-ware-
house to warehouse insurance at the buyer’s expense unless satisfied that the
buyer has adequate coverage obtained elsewhere, in which case, name of the
insurance company and policy number must be indicated on the order.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
Our packaging is expertly done with consideration given to the type of article
and carrier. Should damage occur, please note the details on the freight bill and
immediately file proper claim with Transportation Company. Damage in transit is
the responsibility of the carrier. Claims filed against the carrier are the
responsibility of the customer.
