A BILL TO BAN ANIMAL TESTED PRODUCTS FROM

CIRCULATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED


2 THAT:
3 Article I: The United States of America shall ban any and all examples of animal

4 testing.

5 A. All manufacturers of cosmetics that sell within the borders of the

6 United States of America are hereby forbidden from using animal

7 testing.

8 B. Manufacturers of cosmetics outside of the United States that are tested

9 on animals are, also, prohibited from selling with the borders of the

10 United States.

11 Article II: Animal Testing is defined as the use of any/ all non-human animals for

12 research and developmental purposes; especially for determining the

13 safety of a contained substances

14 Cosmetics are defined as a product manufactured for external use on the

15 body; interned to better the body’s appearance

16 Article III: This bill will take full effect on January 1st, 2019

17 Article IV: National Institutes of Health, more specifically the Office of Laboratory

18 Animal Welfare, will be the lead agency in charge of enforcing of this

19 particular bill.

20 A. The office will be responsible for inspecting cosmetic production

21 facilities to deem them law-abiding.

22 B. The office will be responsible for ensuring all international products

23 abide by the rules set.


24 Article V: All laws in conflict with this particular policy shall hereby be declared null
25 and void.
