Notes from Blitz Inspection:


Dumpster Area
· Lids must be closed
· All garbage and debris must be removed
· Remove building supplies
Stair ways/vestibule:
· All stairways must be cleared and remain clutter free
· Remove all old equipment and ensure the area is cleared at all times
· All stair ways must be clear and free of everything- clear walk ways
· Stair way steps dirty- 1st floor to 3rd floor- down to the basement
· Rails need to be scraped and repainted
· Fix broken lock in janitor closet 300 B

Hallways:
· Dirty- water fountains
· Water pressure was low
· Water fountains need to be repaired
· Lockers need to be dusted
· Garbage/food needs to be removed from empty lockers
· All lights must be in working order- many lights out
· All shields must be replaced
· All vents must cleaned and dust free
·         All heating units – must have all of the covers on the unit- need to be repaired
· Repair holes in the hallways

Elevator:
· Must be cleaned and maintained and remain clutter free
· Clutter on floor level 1 and 2 and 3
· Ceiling tile in the hallway needs to be repaired/replaced
· Vents need to be cleaned- if pain is chipping it must be repainted
· Peeling Paint must be removed and repainted
· Remove falling ceiling tile
· Repair water leaking by the tile
Bathrooms: teachers, girls and boys, engineer bathroom, next to 313 B
· Clutter must be removed from all bathrooms- furniture, boxes, ect
· All bathrooms need a light fixture/ cover shield
· All vents need to be cleaned
· Replace missing tiles
·         Replace cracked mirror in the women’s bathroom- 2nd floor
· The bathrooms need to have a vent replaced/ cleaned
· All ceiling tiles that are missing must be replaced
· All holes must be filled
· Water pressure is low
· Must ensure hot water gets hot
· Faucets must be on for a min. of 20 seconds
· Urinal was cracked in the boys bathroom- must be repaired
· Cleanliness of all toilets, toilet seats- cleaned and secured
· All bathrooms should be properly stock
· Repair hand dryer- or replace with paper towel dispenser
· Remove old paper towel/toilet dispensers
· Remove graffiti off of the bathroom stalls
· Install a stall door in the boys bathroom in the second floor
Lights:
· Remove all dead bugs in light shields
· Replace ballast and lights that are out
· Replace missing and cracked light shields
·         Fix the hole in the engineer closet – light fixture just shoved in there
· Light bulbs should be the same color- replace light bulbs that are not
Storage Rooms/ Custodial/ Closets:
· Remove all clutter
· Remove wooden ladders
· Clean out mop sinks
· Ensure there is nothing stored on the ground
· Repair ceiling damage/ missing tiles
· Repair/clean all vents in the closets
· Ensure the light shields are up and working
· Replace all missing or cracked tiles/flooring in all closets
· Remove peeling paint
Classrooms: 204, 209, 210, 205, 206, 203, 212, 213 B,312, 311, 309, 308, 307, 303, 306, 305, 301, 111, 112, 110
· All classrooms must be declutter
· Nothing should be on or near heating vents
· Uninvents covers and vents have gum and garbage in them- need to be cleaned and repaired
· Nothing should be stored on the floors
· All classrooms doors need to be repainted- peeling/chipped paint
·         All fridges/microwaves/ candy/ food must be removed from the classrooms and offices- should be stored in the teachers’ lounge only 
· Vent covers need to be cleaned and painted
· Walls- all holes and cracks must be patched and painted
·         Light bulbs/ ballast/ Shields – replaced and fixed as needed
· All non-working/exposed outlets should have a cover on them or repaired
· Ceiling tiles- need to be repaired, all tiles with water damaged needs to be replaced
· Remove all old tape stuck to the walls
· Space heater must be removed-303
· Loose vent cover needs to be repaired in room 305
· Room 308- fire blanket needs to be accessible not blocked
· Room 312- Eye wash station is blocked and clutter throughout- must be accessible
· Room 312- all fridges must be removed/ and cleaned- mold and expired food found in unit
· Room 309- white board needs to be replaced, leak in the corner ceiling, uninvent and top cover need to be repaired and replaced
· Room 211- fridge needs to be removed- and cleaned, candle needs to be removed, excessive amount of tape all over the floor
· Room-212- has a lot of issues, declutter, light issues, sink issues, cleanliness needs to occur, extinguisher
· Pencil shavings must be cleaned out
· Holes- must be fixed or stuffed with steel wool
· Classroom Storage closets-
o All clutter must be removed
o Nothing should be on the floor
o Need to be cleaned and organized
o Need to be able to safely walk in
o Need to be able to clean daily
· Windows
o Lexon windows need to be replaced
o All blinds need to be cleaned
o All windows and ledges need to be cleaned
o Window stops need to be installed
o Fix window AC unit- need a better solution than OSB board- room 206
o All ledges must be cleaned
o Window screens need to be repaired
· Outside of the facility
o Remove all garbage and debris
§ From the front door all the way around the building
§ Remove all landscaping and debris
§ North side electrical closet hole in the wall- needs to be repaired and filled
§ Brick work by door 3
§ Metal pipe cover by door 3 needs to be reattached to the building
§  Bus sign needs to be called in – Engineer call 311
§ All exterior lights need to be repaired
· 4 light south south side and 1 on the north side
§ Ensure all outside storage areas are clean and organized
· Extinguishers
o Many extinguishers expired from 2001 and up
o Engineer must replace and ensure tags are up to date
· Gym/ Auditorium
o Peeling paint must be removed
o All garbage needs to be removed
o All closets need to be cleaned and organized
o Wheel chair lift needs to be cleaned and remain clutter free
o All stair ways need to be cleaned
o Gym office- clutter- remove fridge, microwave
o Floors need to be refinished and restriped
o Vents need to be cleaned
o Fans need to have the dust build up removed
MDF room/202:
· Clutter needs to be removed- ensure hallways are cleared
· IT room needs to be cleaned and dusted- remove clutter
Woodshop room:
· Floors need to be cleaned
· Ceiling tiles need to be repaired
· Uninvent dirty/ rattle noise- need to be repaired
· Exterior door needs to be replaced
· Closet has a lot of clutter
· No light shields
· Items blocking electrical panel must be removed and remain clear
