1. Explanantion on the background

In order to guide the distributors to purchase VVT/OCV valves made by different
suppliers, GIC releases the notification to make a clarification on the kind of spare parts.

2.Contents

At present, there are 2 suppliers to supply VVT/OCV valves for

JL4G18/15:Delphi(Taizhou, Zhejiang Province ,supplier code:576280), Delphi (Taizhou,
Jiangsu Province, supplier code:523024);

there are 4 suppliers to supply VVT/OCV valves for JLC-4G18/15: Schaeffler (supplier
code: 512010), Daxing Technology(supplier code:576290), Delphi (Taizhou, Zhejiang
Province ,supplier code:576280), Delphi (Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, supplier
code:523024);

there are 2 suppliers to supply VVT/OCV valves for JLD-4G24/20: Schaeffler (supplier

code:512010), Daxing Technology (supplier code:576290).

VVT/OCV valves made by different suppliers are not interchangeable and in after-sales
service they must be used in pair or in a set. In addition, the distributors shall choose right
spare parts made by the same supplier of the VVT/OCV valves on the vehicle during the
process of maintenance and service.
For the spare parts of VVT/CVT valve, originally they are given the same part No.
though they are supplied by different suppliers, which has caused inconvenience for
after-sales service as the spare parts of VVT/CVT valve made by different manufacturers
are not interchangeable. For the purpose to solve the issue of the spare parts of VVT/OCV
valves, GIC allocates new part No. to different spare parts made by different manufacturers
so as to facilitate purchase and ordering.

The following table shows the corresponding relation between the part No. of the new
and the old ones. For the VVT/OCV valves purchased in old part No., the distributors can
continue to use them but shall pay attention to differentiate the code of different suppliers
and confirm whether the code is the same as that of the original part on the vehicle.
