RE: First Student Bus Garage Proposal
Dear Mr. Alexander, Supervisor Bartlett and Chairpersons DeSormo, Boxberger and Wormwood
I represent Onondaga Development, LLC, a landowner in the Jefferson County Industrial
Park.
Lam writing to express my client’s concern that the First Student bus garage project
proposed for the Industrial Park appears to be contrary to the restrictive covenants that benefit
and burdens the Park, including my client's property.
‘The covenants limit uses to light manufacturing enterprise which is specifically either:
a manufacturing, assembly, or packaging of goods;
b, __ engineering or research and development;
c. administrative or other professional services;
d, distribution center; and
€. warehousing.
Enterprises meeting those criteria are required by the covenants to be “free fiom
objectionable odors, fumes, dirt, dust, vibration, noise, and other conditions which would be
injurious or detrimental to the Park or its occupants.”
‘These and many other environmental impacts are likely to be the subject of review for
this project. My client is concerned as well about the already badly congested traffic conditions
at the intersection with Route 12F and the potential impact of that traffic on properties both
within and nearby the Park.Mr. Donald Alexander

believe that each of the Boards copied on this letter may have a role in the review and
approval of the proposed project and the traffic and environmental conditions both now and if the
development were to move forward. My client will see that those concems are raised and will
insist that they be addressed.
Most importantly, my client is requesting that the Jefferson County IDA review and
enforce the covenants which govern and control development in the Industrial Park.
‘Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Very truly yours,
McMAHON, KUBLICK & SMITH, P.C.
