1 Introduction
Generalized E-Learning means the learning behaviors by accepting application of
electronic technology and media, including learning behaviors based on television
broadcasting, video audio, CD-ROM and the Internet. In this sense, E-Learning has a
history of more than 30 years. While in a narrow sense, E-Learning is specifically
defined as Internet-based learning. E-Learning possesses operable property. It breaks
through closed property of traditional teaching and realizes a ubiquitous mobile E-
Learning. E-Learning is interactivity. E-Learning has inherited the interactivity of
traditional teaching. But it also has great differences with interactivity of traditional
teaching. Interactive of E-Learning is online, and it can be either synchronous or
asynchronous; E-Learning possesses cooperation property and E-Learning platform
provides an environment for teachers and learners to collaborate and exchange, and
realize collaborative learning through E-Learning; E-Learning possesses traceability
property and all learning activities of learners are logged as part of the assessment of
the learning results and the basis of learning demands analysis; E-Learning possesses
authenticity property, and though the learners are in a virtual environment, learning
situation is authentic; E-Learning is technical, implementation and technology of E-
Learning are closely related, including ICT technology, network technology and
related software and hardware. E-Learning is not one kind of new technology, but a
method of transmitting the content. And what the most important is that it is a great
reform for study itself as well as its production through the study. Thus this is the true
meaning of E-Learning. The contemporary study theory of constructivism believe that
the knowledge acquirement is not imparted by teachers, but gained by the meaning
construction way. In that way learners are in a certain situation, that is to say under
the given society cultural background and with the aid of other people and essential
study materials. The study theory of constructivism takes knowledge meaning
construction as the final goal of entire learning process. The teaching design does not
usually start from teaching goal analysis, but from how to establish context which is
advantageous for meaning construction of learners. During the learning process all
activities have to obey to this central idea, and have to be advantageous to complete
and deepen the meaning construction of the learning knowledge. The study theory of
constructivism reveals four attributes of learning environment, which are “situation”,
“cooperation”, “dialog”, “meaning construction”. They are important to the E-
Learning learning process. The study theory of constructivism requests the E-
Learning teaching design to carry on launch by the analysis design of “question
scene”, “study resources”, “study strategy”, “cognition tool”, “management and
service”, “strengthening and the appraisal” and so on. In this process the learners are
the main body of teaching design, whose core duty is the study goal. The goal of E-
Learning teaching design is to create intelligent learning system, so that learners can
study in collaborative learning in simulation learning “scene” of virtual system. In the
learning process we use modern network technology, communication technology and
multimedia technology to achieve “conversation”, and finally we establish the
meaningful knowledge to existing knowledge system.
