Statement of study/research goals

I am applying to IT University of Copenhagen because of the many opportunities it offers in my

favourite field of study "Semantic Game-based Learning ", and the prominent academic staff of to IT
University of Copenhagen in the field of Game-based system.

I have always been fascinated by E-Learning and game based System and find this area intellectually
exciting. In order to gain an appreciation of these and related issues, it is essential for me to have a
strong grounding in designing, modelling, analyzing and implementing connected with managing
quality E-learning systems.

It would enable me to channel my quantitative and conceptual skills in system analyzing issues and
would open up new avenues in planning and research.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering from Azad University of Qazvin,
Iran and after graduation, I pursued graduate studies immediately and hold a Masters degree in
“Information Technology-Safe Communication” from University of IUST, Iran ,Tehran .

While doing my undergraduate studies at Azad University, I had the opportunity to work part-time in
different companies such as FANAVA Company and Central Insurance Ltd. Also, I have worked as a
Lab Tutor for two years and assisted Dr. Ali Akbar Jalali with his coursework while I was doing my
post graduate studies at University of IUST.

Even though I hold a Master’s degree in “Information Technology-Safe Communication”, I intend to

do my Phd’s degree in Game-based System at Copenhagen University and I truly believe that my
research experiences will help me to achieve my goals.

I want to do a Phd at Copenhagen University for many reasons. I have heard about Copenhagen’s Phd
program in Game-based system from my university professors and also my friend who is a graduate
student in the Department of Information System Engineering and am impressed with the emphasis
placed on technical and analytical skills and rigorous research methodology at this university, and I
would like to be a part of this fascinating research community.

While education and research in Information Technology is my prime objective today, my interests in
literature, music, travel and nature help me maintain a sense of perspective in life.

Based on my academic training, work experience, and my personal research about the Danish society,
I now have a deeper understanding of the discipline, skills, and aptitudes required to excel as a
graduate student and research assistant in a great Danish university such as Copenhagen.
The specialization phase of Copenhagen’s Professional Program fits well with my background,
academic and career goals. I am confident that you will find me a highly motivated and resourceful
student and a valuable member of the Copenhagen community.

I hope that the admissions committee finds my background and strengths commensurate with the
requirements of Copenhagen’s Phd program in Game-based system.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
