Key Points:
Before launching his career as an acoustic singer/songwriter, Ben Howard grew up in South Devon, England, where his mother’s
collection of folk records helped instill a love for Joni Mitchell, Donovan, and Richie Havens. Howard also developed an interest in
surfing, catching his first wave at the age of 11 and heading to the beach whenever he wasn’t busy writing music in the folksy style
of his influences. While pursuing a journalism degree years later, he briefly moved to Newquay, the surf capital of the U.K., where
he received class credit for working at a surfing magazine. Howard dropped out of school six months shy of graduation, though,
convinced by the surf community’s enthusiastic response to his music ‐‐ which, despite its acoustic folk sound and beachy vibe,
sounded more like John Martyn than Jack Johnson ‐‐ that he should ditch the newsroom and focus on songwriting.
The surf community proved to be a big stepping stone for Howard, who found himself playing to packed audiences long before his
music spread beyond the U.K. beaches. He continued developing his style, too, adding a percussive element to his playing by
learning to rap his knuckles across the guitar body between strums. A European tour with Xavier Rudd helped him build a wider
audience in late 2008, as did the release of EPs like These Waters and Old Pine. By the time Howard finished recording his full‐
length debut, Every Kingdom, in autumn 2011, he’d signed a major‐label deal with Island Records (the same label that once
released music by John Martyn) and graduated to headliner status, thanks to growing fan bases in England, Germany, France, and
Holland. Every Kingdom performed very well in the U.K., where it wound up getting nominated for the Mercury Prize and helped
him win BRIT Awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Solo Male Artist; it was certified Platinum in that country. For his
anticipated sophomore set, I Forget Where We Were, Howard went somewhat electric and was rewarded with strong reviews and
sales; it debuted at number one on the U.K. charts. ~ Andrew Leahey

J Balvin is the stage name of José Álvaro Osorio Balvin from Medellín, Colombia. Balvin is a reggaeton singer whose polished urban singles and
best‐selling albums have made him a top‐tier Latin pop artist. He became interested in music at a young age while listening to rap, champeta,
bachata, and reggae on the radio. He was also a big fan of music videos; it was from these that he began to develop his dance moves and
cultivate his own style.

He signed to EMI Colombia in 2009 and released his first single, "Ella Me Cautivó," which charted at 35 on the U.S. tropical chart. This was
followed by the release of the full‐length Real in 2010. Balvin contributed four tunes to the soundtrack of the Tim Bulot film El Negocio. All of
them charted, including "En Lo Oscuro," which hit the top spot in his native country.

Balvin was a featured vocalist on the Colombian version of Robin Thicke's smash single "Blurred Lines," which was issued in October of 2013,
just prior to his own second album, La Familia. All four singles from the album charted in Colombia's Top Ten, and "Yo Te Lo Dije" hit number
two on the rhythm chart and number nine on the Latin pop chart in the U.S. The B Sides collection appeared in September of 2014, featuring
two more radio chart‐topping singles in "6 AM" and "Ay Vamos." The latter won a Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song.

His 2015 single "Ginza," the official pre‐release for his next album, entered the Hot Latin Songs chart at number one, topped several others, and
was certified platinum. Balvin's collaborations were as notable as his own work that year. He and Julión Álvarez were featured on Juan Gabriel's
single "La Frontera." His "Latino Remix" of Justin Bieber's smash "Sorry" scored big for both artists at Latin pop radio and in digital streaming and
downloads.

In 2016, Balvin won the Premios Lo Nuestro Artist of the Year Award and was a featured guest on both Sofia Carson's charting debut single,
"Love Is the Name," and on Alejandro Sanz's "Cuando Seas Grande" ‐‐ from a performance at La Voz ‐‐ along with Gloria Trevi and Los Tigres del
Norte. In May he released the single "Bobo"; it topped the Latin songs chart. "Safari," featuring Pharrell Williams, BIA, and Sky, was released in
June, followed by the full‐length Energia. The album, produced by Sky and featuring contributions from Bull Nene, Daddy Yankee, Fuego, Yandel,
and Juanes, hit the top spot on several Latin album charts. The following year, he guested on Wale's "Colombia Heights" single.

‘As Long As I Have You’ was produced by Dave Eringa, best known for his work with the Manic Street Preachers and on Roger
and Wilko Johnson’s album ‘Going Back Home’ and features Pete Townshend’s inimitable guitar on seven tracks as well as
guest performances from Mick Talbot on keyboards (Dexys, The Style Council) and Sean Genockey on lead guitar who has
worked with Suede, Shame and The Proclaimers).

Work on ‘As Long As I Have You’ was started shortly after the top 5 gold selling ‘Going Back Home’ was released and
continued during breaks on The Who’s record breaking 50th anniversary tour ‘The Who Hits 50’.

The album is a mixture of self‐penned tracks such as 'Certified Rose' and the soulful ballad ‘Always Heading Home’ along
with songs that have inspired Daltrey over the years including Nick Cave’s ‘Into My Arms’, ‘You Haven’t Done Nothing’ by
Stevie Wonder, Stephen Stills’ ‘How Far’ and the title track originally recorded by Garnet Mimms in 1964; the year that
Daltrey, Townshend, Entwistle and Moon changed their name from The High Numbers and became The Who.

Six years after her debut mixtape, Drunken Babble, Colombian‐American songstress Kali Uchis delivers her first full‐length. It

DEF LEPPARD’S ROCK OF AGES REIGNS SUPREME WITH THE FIRST OF FOUR PLANNED CAREER‐SPANNING BOX SETS

This first volume of the band’s complete recorded output comes in both limited edition 180 gram heavyweight vinyl and CD
box sets, each featuring Def Leppard’s first four studio albums — along with some choice bonus live and studio material —
all spread across 8LPs and 7CDs, respectively.

The Volume One collection includes bonus material including Live At The LA Forum 1983, originally released as a bonus disc
in the deluxe CD version of Pyromania, making this the first‐ever vinyl offering of the complete show. This 2LP version comes
with a new sleeve and inner bags.

Rarities Volume 1 has been specially compiled by Joe Elliott, containing rare B‐sides and recordings from Def Leppard’s early
years, all in a newly commissioned sleeve. Finally, rounding out this collection is the 7‐inch vinyl single and 3‐inch CD of Def
Leppard’s original, self‐titled EP.

The fiery Volume One collection contains all of Def Leppard’s iconic 1980s recordings with reproductions of the original
packaging in both formats, plus the added bonus of a replica 7‐inch single and 3‐inch CD of the band’s original independent
EP, the self‐titled The Def Leppard E.P.

Each album in the box set was mastered by longtime band producer/soundmaster Ronan McHugh and cut by Greg Moore.

Housed in rigid boxes, the Volume One collection also contains a hardback book with rare photos by longstanding band
confidant Ross Halfin and liner notes by Classic Rock’s Paul Elliott. Def Leppard bandmembers Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage,
drummer Rick Allen, and guitarist Phil Collen have all also contributed their personal introductions to the collection.

Key Points:
Counting Sam Cooke and Van Morrison among his idols, Albin Lee Meldau is a Swedish singer/songwriter with a soulful
delivery. He was born and raised in Gothenberg; his mother, Annika Blennerhed, was a professional folk‐rock and jazz
singer, and his English father, Max Meldau, recorded and released new wave music in the early '80s. A young Albin Lee
Meldau shared their interest in music, taking trumpet lessons and singing in choir. At the age of 12, he started a cover
band. Later, as a young adult, Meldau formed a retro‐soul band called Magnolia.
He began his recording career in his mid‐twenties, releasing the debut single "Lou Lou" in 2015. The demo of the song
won him the opportunity to record with Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John, who produced his first EP, Lovers. It was
released by Astralwerks in 2016. The Bloodshot EP followed a year later, and he was nominated for Best Newcomer at

An English duo with a knack for crafting pitch‐perfect American country‐pop in the vein of Lady Antebellum, Kacey
Musgraves, and Florida Georgia Line, the Shires came into existence in 2013 after Hertfordshire guitarist, vocalist, and
songwriter Ben Earle, a struggling solo artist who had toured with KT Tunstall, posted "there must be a country singer
somewhere" on his Facebook page. The response to his question came from nearby Bedfordshire in the form of Crissie
Rhodes, a talented vocalist who had been honing her craft at weddings, pubs, and clubs. The pair bonded over their mutual
love for artists like Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Alison Krauss, and began writing and performing together; they
eventually inked a deal with Decca Records in the U.K. and Universal Music Group Nashville across the pond. Their first
single, the aptly named "Nashville Skies," debuted in 2014 in anticipation of their full‐length studio album, Brave, which
followed in February 2015. The duo promoted the record with a nationwide tour and returned in 2016 with their second
album, My Universe, which the U.K. chart at number three. Their third effort, 2018's Accidentally on Purpose, recorded in
Nashville with Lindsay Rimes, was their attempt at a proper crossover record, taking inspiration from the contemporary U.S.

Crimson Glory formed as early as 1982, but it took until 1986 for their self‐titled debut album to be released. The band initially drew much media
attention because of their mysterious silver masks, but they had an astoundingly powerful vocalist in the enigmatic Midnight and in guitarists Jon
Drenning and Ben Jackson, a team capable of supplying excellent harmonies and truly beautiful melodic lines.
These talents were made evident on classic metal anthems like "Angels of War" and the epic "Heart of Steel". Crimson Glory are as good as
American metal gets ‐‐ witness the driving "Dragon Lady" and the absolute classic "Azrael" for proof. Ultimately, “Crimson Glory” is a very fine
album that has withstood the test of time much better than you'd expect. Here comes the 2018 reissue.

Even in the ongoing success story of a band like Blutengel, there are certain moments that are simply magical. The
jampacked courtyard of the water castle Klaffenbach, in Chemnitz, filled with an enthusiastic audience that had been
traveling in from everywhere in Germany and even the entire globe, plus the extremely beautiful scenery had Chris Pohl,
Ulrike Goldmann and the band positively overwhelmed from the very beginning. The audience and Blutengel were
connecting from the moment the band entered the stage, marking the start of the feeling of being part of one of the special
evenings that are almost impossible to explain in words. Blutengel performed their 2‐hourplus set comprised of hits, fan‐
favorites and a couple of pleasant surprises with an ardent zeal and the fans delightfully tagged along for the ride. Hence, it
was hardly any wonder that Chris Pohl was clearly at a loss for words to describe what he had just experienced at the end of
the show. A once ‐in‐a‐lifetime‐show… now finally conserved for re‐living on 2 CDs, Blutengel are not just a band, Blutengel
are a way of life… and “Live im Wasserschloss Klaffenbach” conveys this feeling like no other release before it.

Nightmare Air—Dave Dupuis [guitar, vocals], Swaan Miller [bass, vocals], and Jimmy Lucido [drums]—emit swaths of analog synth
transmissions punctuated by distorted guitars before succumbing to hummable hooks befitting of the big screen. This marriage of tight
craft and aural expanse perfectly sets the scene for the Los Angeles trio’s aptly titled second full‐length album, Fade Out.

“We aimed to do something different,” exclaims Dave. “I spent so many years trying to turn my guitar into a synthesizer and create all of
these weird sounds. Instead of turning the instrument into something it wasn’t, I really embraced synths and their ability to sonically
push different frequencies and leave space in the mix. This approach gave Swaan more room to shine and the songwriting to take center
stage. We were all on point about creating a rock record out of the love for simple rockers. It wasn’t about confusing anyone. We wanted
to write three‐and‐a‐half minute sonic anthems. This definitely feels like an evolution.”

The group planted the seeds for that evolution on the road in support of their critically acclaimed 2013 debut, High In The Lasers. Not
only did the band earn plaudits from Filter, Under the Radar Magazine, ArtRocker Magazine, and more, but they logged countless miles
on tour alongside everyone from The Kills and Cat Power to The Cult, The Dandy Warhols, and more in addition to standout sets at SXSW
and Starry Nights Festival.

Building on a pedigree that spans Dave’s history in shoegaze stalwarts Film School, Swaan’s fiery acoustic output, and Lucido’s rep as a
Detroit drum heavyweight, the musicians set about further defining their collective identity as a unit this time.

“High In The Lasers is a fucking sonic assault,” he says. “The tempos are fast. It’s through the roof. This time, as an exercise we slowed
things down a little bit attempting to create similar wall of sound monsters, but easier on the ears and the mind.”

In order to perfect the sonic palette, he brought the finished music to Doug Romanow at Noble Street Studios in Toronto, Canada.
Utilizing a staggering collection of “seventy synths,” Dave and Romanow co‐produced and mixed Fade Out, unlocking yet another side of
Nightmare Air.

You can hear it loud and clear on the opener and first single “Who’s Your Lover.” A rush of synths races a propulsive beat and airy lead as
Swaan’s breathy delivery enchant at every turn as she asks, “Who’s your lover?” “‘Who’s Your Lover’ sums up what we were trying to do
with the whole record in the sense that it’s very vocal‐driven,” adds Dave. “The guitars say their peace and drop back. The synths pop up.
The guitars come back in. We let the melody lead the way.”

Before launching his career as an acoustic singer/songwriter, Ben Howard grew up in South Devon, England, where his mother’s collection of folk records helped instill a love for Joni
Mitchell, Donovan, and Richie Havens. Howard also developed an interest in surfing, catching his first wave at the age of 11 and heading to the beach whenever he wasn’t busy writing
music in the folksy style of his influences. While pursuing a journalism degree years later, he briefly moved to Newquay, the surf capital of the U.K., where he received class credit for
working at a surfing magazine. Howard dropped out of school six months shy of graduation, though, convinced by the surf community’s enthusiastic response to his music ‐‐ which,
despite its acoustic folk sound and beachy vibe, sounded more like John Martyn than Jack Johnson ‐‐ that he should ditch the newsroom and focus on songwriting.
The surf community proved to be a big stepping stone for Howard, who found himself playing to packed audiences long before his music spread beyond the U.K. beaches. He
continued developing his style, too, adding a percussive element to his playing by learning to rap his knuckles across the guitar body between strums. A European tour with Xavier
Rudd helped him build a wider audience in late 2008, as did the release of EPs like These Waters and Old Pine. By the time Howard finished recording his full‐length debut, Every
Kingdom, in autumn 2011, he’d signed a major‐label deal with Island Records (the same label that once released music by John Martyn) and graduated to headliner status, thanks to
growing fan bases in England, Germany, France, and Holland. Every Kingdom performed very well in the U.K., where it wound up getting nominated for the Mercury Prize and helped
him win BRIT Awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Solo Male Artist; it was certified Platinum in that country. For his anticipated sophomore set, I Forget Where We Were,
Howard went somewhat electric and was rewarded with strong reviews and sales; it debuted at number one on the U.K. charts. ~ Andrew Leahey

guest performances from Mick Talbot on keyboards (Dexys, The Style Council) and Sean Genockey on lead guitar who has

Work on ‘As Long As I Have You’ was started shortly after the top 5 gold selling ‘Going Back Home’ was released and
continued during breaks on The Who’s record breaking 50th anniversary tour ‘The Who Hits 50’.

The album is a mixture of self‐penned tracks such as 'Certified Rose' and the soulful ballad ‘Always Heading Home’ along
with songs that have inspired Daltrey over the years including Nick Cave’s ‘Into My Arms’, ‘You Haven’t Done Nothing’ by
Stevie Wonder, Stephen Stills’ ‘How Far’ and the title track originally recorded by Garnet Mimms in 1964; the year that
Daltrey, Townshend, Entwistle and Moon changed their name from The High Numbers and became The Who.

DEF LEPPARD’S ROCK OF AGES REIGNS SUPREME WITH THE FIRST OF FOUR PLANNED CAREER‐SPANNING BOX SETS

This first volume of the band’s complete recorded output comes in both limited edition 180 gram heavyweight vinyl and CD
box sets, each featuring Def Leppard’s first four studio albums — along with some choice bonus live and studio material —
all spread across 8LPs and 7CDs, respectively.

The Volume One collection includes bonus material including Live At The LA Forum 1983, originally released as a bonus disc
in the deluxe CD version of Pyromania, making this the first‐ever vinyl offering of the complete show. This 2LP version comes
with a new sleeve and inner bags.

Rarities Volume 1 has been specially compiled by Joe Elliott, containing rare B‐sides and recordings from Def Leppard’s early
years, all in a newly commissioned sleeve. Finally, rounding out this collection is the 7‐inch vinyl single and 3‐inch CD of Def
Leppard’s original, self‐titled EP.

The fiery Volume One collection contains all of Def Leppard’s iconic 1980s recordings with reproductions of the original
packaging in both formats, plus the added bonus of a replica 7‐inch single and 3‐inch CD of the band’s original independent
EP, the self‐titled The Def Leppard E.P.

Each album in the box set was mastered by longtime band producer/soundmaster Ronan McHugh and cut by Greg Moore.

Housed in rigid boxes, the Volume One collection also contains a hardback book with rare photos by longstanding band
confidant Ross Halfin and liner notes by Classic Rock’s Paul Elliott. Def Leppard bandmembers Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage,
drummer Rick Allen, and guitarist Phil Collen have all also contributed their personal introductions to the collection.

Key Points:
Counting Sam Cooke and Van Morrison among his idols, Albin Lee Meldau is a Swedish singer/songwriter with a soulful
delivery. He was born and raised in Gothenberg; his mother, Annika Blennerhed, was a professional folk‐rock and jazz
singer, and his English father, Max Meldau, recorded and released new wave music in the early '80s. A young Albin Lee
Meldau shared their interest in music, taking trumpet lessons and singing in choir. At the age of 12, he started a cover
band. Later, as a young adult, Meldau formed a retro‐soul band called Magnolia.
He began his recording career in his mid‐twenties, releasing the debut single "Lou Lou" in 2015. The demo of the song
won him the opportunity to record with Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John, who produced his first EP, Lovers. It was
released by Astralwerks in 2016. The Bloodshot EP followed a year later, and he was nominated for Best Newcomer at
the 2017 Grammis. As his reputation grew, he had the opportunity to collaborate with songwriters including Jimmy
Napes (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware) and producers Bastian Langebæk (Jack Garrett, Jessie Ware) and Jamie Scott (One
Direction, Alex & Sierra) on his full‐length debut. About You arrived on Astralwerks in 2018.

An English duo with a knack for crafting pitch‐perfect American country‐pop in the vein of Lady Antebellum, Kacey
Musgraves, and Florida Georgia Line, the Shires came into existence in 2013 after Hertfordshire guitarist, vocalist, and
songwriter Ben Earle, a struggling solo artist who had toured with KT Tunstall, posted "there must be a country singer
somewhere" on his Facebook page. The response to his question came from nearby Bedfordshire in the form of Crissie
Rhodes, a talented vocalist who had been honing her craft at weddings, pubs, and clubs. The pair bonded over their mutual
love for artists like Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Alison Krauss, and began writing and performing together; they
eventually inked a deal with Decca Records in the U.K. and Universal Music Group Nashville across the pond. Their first
single, the aptly named "Nashville Skies," debuted in 2014 in anticipation of their full‐length studio album, Brave, which
followed in February 2015. The duo promoted the record with a nationwide tour and returned in 2016 with their second
album, My Universe, which the U.K. chart at number three. Their third effort, 2018's Accidentally on Purpose, recorded in
Nashville with Lindsay Rimes, was their attempt at a proper crossover record, taking inspiration from the contemporary U.S.

Key Points:
Formed in 2008, the Word Alive are a metalcore band based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Originally founded by singer Craig
Mabbitt and guitarists Zack Hansen and Tony Pizzuti, the band served as a side project for Mabbitt, who joined Escape the
Fate around the same time. Filling out their membership with bassist Nick Urlacher, drummer Tony Aguilera, and
keyboardist Dusty Riach, the band began to develop a sound, though their progress was stunted by Mabbitt's rigorous
touring schedule, causing the band to bring in vocalist Tyler Smith to replace him. With Smith in place, things began to move
quickly for the Word Alive, who signed on with Fearless Records, which would release their Empire EP in 2009. After hitting
the road, the Word Alive released their full‐length debut, Deceiver, in 2010, a year that would also see them parting ways
with Aguilera and Urlacher, who were replaced by bassist Daniel Shapiro and drummer Justin Salinas (though his time with
the band would be short‐lived, with drummer Luke Holland stepping in to replace him just two years later when Salinas grew
tired of life on the road). A second album, the darker and heavier Life Cycles, followed in 2012. The Word Alive continued to
mature their sound, returning in 2014 with Real, an album that found the band developing a more nuanced and atmospheric
take on the genre. 2015 saw the band continuing a grueling tour schedule that included international appearances in Hong
Kong, Bangkok, and the Phillipines. In November of that year, their dedication to fans was tested when vocalist Smith broke
his back and several ribs during a stage‐diving incident and still insisted on honoring every remaining date on the tour.

Nightmare Air—Dave Dupuis [guitar, vocals], Swaan Miller [bass, vocals], and Jimmy Lucido [drums]—emit swaths of analog synth
transmissions punctuated by distorted guitars before succumbing to hummable hooks befitting of the big screen. This marriage of tight
craft and aural expanse perfectly sets the scene for the Los Angeles trio’s aptly titled second full‐length album, Fade Out.

“We aimed to do something different,” exclaims Dave. “I spent so many years trying to turn my guitar into a synthesizer and create all of
these weird sounds. Instead of turning the instrument into something it wasn’t, I really embraced synths and their ability to sonically
push different frequencies and leave space in the mix. This approach gave Swaan more room to shine and the songwriting to take center
stage. We were all on point about creating a rock record out of the love for simple rockers. It wasn’t about confusing anyone. We wanted
to write three‐and‐a‐half minute sonic anthems. This definitely feels like an evolution.”

The group planted the seeds for that evolution on the road in support of their critically acclaimed 2013 debut, High In The Lasers. Not
only did the band earn plaudits from Filter, Under the Radar Magazine, ArtRocker Magazine, and more, but they logged countless miles
on tour alongside everyone from The Kills and Cat Power to The Cult, The Dandy Warhols, and more in addition to standout sets at SXSW
and Starry Nights Festival.

Building on a pedigree that spans Dave’s history in shoegaze stalwarts Film School, Swaan’s fiery acoustic output, and Lucido’s rep as a
Detroit drum heavyweight, the musicians set about further defining their collective identity as a unit this time.

“High In The Lasers is a fucking sonic assault,” he says. “The tempos are fast. It’s through the roof. This time, as an exercise we slowed
things down a little bit attempting to create similar wall of sound monsters, but easier on the ears and the mind.”

In order to perfect the sonic palette, he brought the finished music to Doug Romanow at Noble Street Studios in Toronto, Canada.
Utilizing a staggering collection of “seventy synths,” Dave and Romanow co‐produced and mixed Fade Out, unlocking yet another side of
Nightmare Air.

You can hear it loud and clear on the opener and first single “Who’s Your Lover.” A rush of synths races a propulsive beat and airy lead as
Swaan’s breathy delivery enchant at every turn as she asks, “Who’s your lover?” “‘Who’s Your Lover’ sums up what we were trying to do
with the whole record in the sense that it’s very vocal‐driven,” adds Dave. “The guitars say their peace and drop back. The synths pop up.
The guitars come back in. We let the melody lead the way.”
