IN the midst of all the chaos that burdened hispaniola at the time, a character was

quitely forming. this character was to do more than all others. this character was to
emerge from his humble beginnings into the beacon for freedom in haiti . This
character was a born leader, descending from the kingdom tribe i dont remeber it
write now. inevitably all folks of a dak complexion owe our freedom to this man. this
man is none other than toussaint l;overture. the 9iforgot his nickname0. broke gaps in
the enemy lines skilful horseman and great leader.

fist paragraph tousaaint entered the war ridden earth on ( insert date) to (insert
aprents). he was born a negro slave. he was born a somewhat privelege d salve. he
gained an education - something unkown to a negro man in those days. his educated
both in books and damn it i thiink it was maths and english and latin iguess and also
he was educated in the traditional methods (need better wording there) this education
would lead him to later on capture a the audience of slaves and encourage or i think
the correct word is influence them into revolting against whomsever it was at the time.
he related easily wiht others he was observant. hs observance led him to realising that
they were living a terrible life that of the negoros. he worked his way up from house
slave to a coachman - pretty important positoin. this showed his leadership skilss. tis
showed that he could rise a bove cchallenges and move towards the graeatness.
toussaint was also a catholic. at first he wished not to fight but to ttalk his e=way out
of things i guess. but due to his observing skls he was able to realise the this was not
possibl - no shit that was to long and needs to be cut down into a bout a sentence or
two. whatever toussaint did he was on the side of freedom. that was his mantra
freedom. that was why he idid everything for freedom.
So first thing that we hear he did. he was fortyfive years onld at the outbreak of the
revolition, he was loyal to france but he wanted freedomand was willing to
doanything to gain freedom dfor his fellow slaves. his character was such that he was
able to humble himslef . put himself into the shoes as th e underpriviliged slaves.
relate to their panin struggle and gaineda passion for freedom. he knew that it was
wrong what the superior nations of europe were doing all he desied was freedom from
the shcakles atthat time of slavery. yet though u blacks are trapped in a mental
enslavemnet. that resulted from slavery . back on track now that was little emotional
will i giess wthe first thing he did was he escorted his master o the united states and
then joined the army of the rebillion. ahhhh . so guess what fisr he fought with spain
against france beacause he thought france will perserve slavery. and he got to camand
a force of 400 black. he joined a a doctor a nd was called physician of the armies of
teh king. so when the y aboloished slaery he rejoined france. the slaves did amire him
for his determinataion- mmore than thought and were willing to follow him. he fough
out of the spanish army and gained a strong force of 2000000 black slaves in order 6to
figh against the v=brittish for freedom from slavery. in toussaint a slave from breda
the blacks found there liberator. so now he was fighting by himself i guess and h
bacame well known and gained support fom adams. got guns so shorten that sentence
into weponary from john adams and i bbecame the real leader of the french forces.
good quote to implemetn the gun is our liberty that was one of his words to the slaves.
he drove the britsh out so u know what we are gonna tie this all in to him being a good
leader and freedom fighter by showing the digfferent wins he made. he drove the
britsh out of hispaniola and aftweerwards drove the french out. he opened the door to
fredom france at that time was unstable and could onothing about tit . another good
thing strategi planning. he stopped the widespread slaughter in 1800 thats great and
wanted ecnomuc activity and stability fo r st. domingue ( damn that education) he
needed to bring back in the forced labour sadly and convinced some of his white
planters to come back . ai guess he gained there trust a luude to hi heloing his master

it(put that in no 0 uk what alright lets go .he made it self governing made a central
ssaseemble made the idea of the scivil service. and claimed the whole of hispaniola.
