Dear Sir,
Please refer to your recent inquiry for supply of materials mentioned above. We have the pleasure to submit
herewith our proposal, which is based on International Standard Design Criteria and Standard Material
Specifications. The overall dimensions and layout are, however, in accordance with your inquiry.
This proposal (total 13 pages) contains detail description, other terms & conditions of sale and other relevant
information in this behalf. We are also enclosing herewith following detail design drawing for your kind
perusal, which, are infact, the properties of MSBPL. Their use in any form either whole or in part is
strictly prohibited.

SECTION-7 PACKING :
Bare loose and small items in gunny bags / local transport worthy packing.
SECTION-8 PROPOSAL VALIDITY :
This proposal is valid till 25th October’ 2013. Any extension of the validity period must be approved by
McDonald.
Cash Payment :
- 30% of total contract value to be paid as advance with the work order,
which will be adjusted proportionately, till the last delivery.
- Part delivery & part payment is allowed.
- Material will be supplied only after receiving payments
Basis of Measurement
of Project area : 1. Out to out of steel edge of the building on plan if there is wall sheeting
2. Out to out of steel column edge if there is no wall sheeting
3. Projection and canopy area upon separate calculation to be added with main
area.
Design Fee : The above price includes the necessary drawing and design fee for the pre-
fabricated structure only.
Design Requirement : Soil Test report must be provided by Client before preparation of foundation
design if the design is entrusted on MSBPL against Payment.
Transportation, etc : Subject to the condition of proper road, water-ways, space and otherwise
situation for long and heavy vehicles of any size & capacity and other means of
transportation from MSBPL Factory upto Clients Project Site, the MSBPL or, as
the case may be, the client shall make arrangement for lifting and carrying of the
materials at the cost of the Client.
Tax and Duties : Our price is based on prevailing Govt. import duties / taxes. In case there
is any increase during the execution of the contract, the increased duties /
taxes will be paid by the client at actual.

Delivery & Erection Period : Our Delivery and Erection Period 180 days from the latest date of receipt and
acceptance of the followings:
1. Signing Contract
2. Down Payment
3. Working Drawings Approval
4. Accessibility at the Site for Pre Designed Measurements
5. Completion of fixing of Anchor Bolts
6. Site Handover for Erection
Work Safety : The Client to ensure congenial working environment free from any
encumbrance, disturbance, extortion and or toll collection at the Project
Site. For any adverse consequence, loss, damage to the property, material
and or physical harassment inflicted to the workers/personnel’s all
liabilities thereto will be on Customer.
Security of Materials : The Client shall provide proper security for the materials stored at Project site
during erection period.
Accommodation : Client is to provide full time electricity, scaffolding and accommodation for the
and other facilities MSBPL’s Erection Team at Construction Sites. Holidays and weekends are not to
be excluded.

Tolerance : Length +0, -15mm, Cover width + 4mm. Rib height + 1mm (Trimdek).

Signboard : A signboard of McDonald Steel Building Products Limited will be supplied at
our own cost which is to be displayed at your project site during the construction
period.
General Care : (A) Handling and Storage : To preserve the surface, handling should only be
carried out using clean, dry gloves. Do not slide sheets over rough surfaces or on
each other. Packs of Trimdek Hi-Ten, Hi-Ten Steel Cladding in all finishes must
be kept dry in transit and stored clean ground under cover to prevent water and /
or condensation being trapped between adjacent surfaces. If packs become wet,
sheets should be separated, wipe with a clean cloth without delay and place so
that air circulation completes the drying process. These procedures are
recommended to avoid possible deterioration of the coating which could lead to a
reduced life expectancy or poor appearance.
(B) Additional Care for Decking Arrangement : In the event of concreting on
BONDEK XP Decking Materials including Decking Beam, adequate number of
Props must be used under the Beam & Slab during concreting. After casting the
props should not be removed before the specified number of days as given in
ACI Code. Till the settlement and perfect curing of the concrete, additional load
on the said floor must not be placed.
Arbitration : Any disputes, controversies or claims arising out of or relating to this deal or
breach, termination or in-validity thereof shall be settled at first by friendly
negotiations between the two parties. In case, the negotiations fail efforts would be
made to settle the issue by two arbitrators, one to be nominated by the Seller and
the other to be nominated by the Buyer. In case the said Arbitrators fail to reach a
settlement, the matter is to be referred to an umpire to be mutually appointed by the
Arbitrators in writing whose decision shall be final and binding on both the parties.
The Arbitration proceedings shall be governed by the Arbitration Act for the time
being in force in Bangladesh. The place of Arbitration shall be at Dhaka,
Bangladesh.
Force Majeure : a) The delivery/shipment period is given in good faith and the Seller/Buyer is not
in any way liable for non-compliance of order or delay in execution thereof due
to non-fulfillment of the obligations of Seller/Buyer because of war, military
operations of any character, civil commotions, sabotages, quarantine
restrictions, restraint by any authority of the Government under any law and
acts of God such as fires, floods, rains which causes movement & works
restriction at the site, cyclones, explosions or other accidents, the epidemics,
mechanical breakdown etc. strike lock-out or other labour unrests, and by
reason of any other nature whatsoever beyond the control of the parties to the
contract.
b) In the event of Force Majeure as at 'a' above, the party claiming excuse thereby
is required to give prompt notice and details of the circumstance causing delay
to the other.
