The offshore division of the Kenz Figee Group is the forerunner

hoisting and lifting systems. Our decades of experience and our

As the offshore industry is subject to constant change in requirements and conditions, we

offer a broad range of solutions for all installation types. Our primary focus is on custom
made and fit for purpose equipment, but we also offer an extensive range of standard
cranes with a short lead time. Note that all of our cranes can be delivered in compliance
with international regulations and standards, including API, ABS and Lloyd’s register.
 ENGINEERING
Kenz Figee’s engineering department (Dutch
Crane Engineering) specializes in the design
and modification of offshore hoisting and lifting
equipment. With extensive experience in the
offshore, oil and renewables industries, we
are the trusted partner for some of the world’s
leading offshore energy suppliers.
Our growing team of engineers has a long track record of design
modifications, calculations and simulations using the leading
software packages, including:

In order to maintain our focus on high quality lifting solutions, our
systems engineering division develops our own electric, hydraulic
and control systems based on E-Plan, AutoCad, Siemens Step7 and

 CRANES
With over 300 offshore cranes and hoisting
systems installed on various types of offshore
installations, Kenz Cranes can be considered one
of the leading suppliers in the industry. From the
Gulf of Mexico to the Asia Pacific region, our ram
luffing, lattice boom and knuckle boom cranes
operate in some of the harshest environments.
We understand that clients’ needs vary, for example in terms of
lead times, working depth and hoisting capacity. Therefore, we
have a diverse product portfolio of both standard and custom built
equipment.
UPGRADE PACKAGES
As our focus is to meet customer demands, it is always possible to
upgrade Kenz cranes with various systems.
BOOM HOIST OFFSHORE CRANES
Kenz Boom Hoist (pedestal mounted) cranes have a lattice-type boom
and use a winch to perform the luffing action. The lightweight design
makes these cranes well suited to operations where high load/radius
combinations are required.

RAM LUFFING OFFSHORE CRANES

Like the boom hoist, the Kenz Ram Luffing crane is pedestal mounted.
With this design, hydraulic cylinders are used to perform the luffing
action. Their compact and robust design makes them ideal for
operations in harsh offshore environments. The limited number of
moving parts means that these cranes combine reliability with limited
required maintenance.

KNUCKLE BOOM OFFSHORE CRANES

The Kenz Knuckle Boom crane is based on proven designs and
easy to customize. With the main hoist rope running underneath the
knuckle, our design is able to lift taller objects than its contemporaries.
Also, the main hoist winch can be enlarged and installed below the
deck at a later stage to facilitate deeper operations.

REFURBISHMENT
Our refurbishment services are preceded by extensive inspections
that are carried out by our experienced personnel. Subsequently,
tailor made programs are developed to fit the requirements of
each client and piece of equipment. Depending on the specific
client requirements, these programs will lead to: extended lifetime,
increased lifting capacity and reduced maintenance costs.
SPARE PARTS
With our large global network of vendors, we can source
original spare parts on short notice, minimizing the downtime
of offshore cranes; regardless of the manufacturer. We have
extensive insight into the lifetime of critical parts and can make
recommendations on which of these should be kept on hand in
your storage facilities.
