Dear CUS,

Is there a greater opportunity that could even possibly even touch AVP Academic? Let alone look more
impressive on a resume than it. And I’m not talking about being the Commerce Undergraduate Society
Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs. I’m not talking about Commerce Undergraduate Society
Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs who assists the VP Academic on various projects either. Hell,
I’m not even talking about Commerce Undergraduate Society Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs
who assists the VP Academic on various projects and work with special attention to academic programs
and the BCom curriculum of the Sauder School of Business. I’m definitely not talking about the
Commerce Undergraduate Society Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs who assists the VP
Academic on various projects and work with special attention to academic programs and the BCom
curriculum of the Sauder School of Business and will also focus on improving the quality and visibly of
research in the current learning environment. I’M TALKING ABOUT Commerce Undergraduate Society
Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs who assists the VP Academic on various projects and work
with special attention to academic programs and the BCom curriculum of the Sauder School of Business
and will also focus on improving the quality and visibly of research in the current learning environment
who can also facilitate bi-weekly meetings with Academic service chairs to ensure the services are fully
supported by the CUS, continue streamlining the Academic services offered by the CUS by conducting
external research and focus groups, assist with hiring of Service Council Committee members within the
Academic Portfolio, develop student surveys, conduct focus groups, and carry out ancillary activities
required to enhance the degree of student consultation pertaining to the current academic program and
more directly understand academic gaps to be filled, Work closely with the VP Academic to provide
feedback and assist with research with regard to the BCom Review, coordinate with the CLC and AMS
CUS Tutoring Services to ensure alignment in the respective offerings and minimize academic overlap,
and Liaise and develop positive relationships with Academic Service Chairs, faculty and staff from the
BCC, UGO, CLC and Dean’s Office.

I didn’t think so.

As a student of the Sauder School of Business, I would like to dedicate my heart to the CUS. Nothing
could make me prouder than dying for such a noble cause. If I were given the opportunity to be AVP
Academic I believe we could do it. I believe we could make the CUS great again.

I love the CUS.
