My Walk with God

Faith Fellowship Christian School has helped me grow as a person. Spiritually and

physically I have grown up in this school surrounded by brothers and sisters in faith. My

principal and teachers have prepared me to enter into the outside world with courage and strong

faith in God. Fellow classmates have also had a major impact on my character and attitude

toward others.

Since I have been attending Faith Fellowship for the past 13 years, I have gotten to know

many members of the staff on a very personal level, from the teachers, to the janitor, to the

principal. On days that I am upset or struggling with something, the janitor always knows, and he

tries to cheer me up and support me. Our principal not only punishes us if we get into trouble,

but he tells us what we did was wrong, what we can do to fix it, and then he goes on to pray with

us. My principal doesn’t like to punish me, but if he has to, he will. He has helped me grow as a

person mentally and spiritually. The teachers at this school are very Biblically driven and strive

to teach us through a Christian perspective. Our teachers are very personal with their pasts and

their mistakes and have helped me not to fall into the same mistakes, but rather learn from their

mistakes and not have to go through what they have gone through. My Spanish teacher is a very

wise woman, as well. Not only in from the way she teaches Spanish, but in the way she gives me

wisdom in my everyday life, as well. When we are struggling with something whether it is a

personal or spiritual problem, she tries to help us and find out what’s going on and solve the

problem. I have not only mentally grown through the courses I have taken, but I have grown

through the biblical teachings they have given us. Bible class is every morning except for on

Wednesday when we have chapel with a guest pastor. In our bible class we not only learn about

what has happened, and gain intel but we converse about what we have learned and what we can

do to strengthen our walk with Jesus Christ. The guest pastors that come in tend to rotate every

five weeks and it has really helped me learn through different aspects and the different points of

view they have shown me.

The school of Faith Fellowship has influenced my life in many various aspects. The

school isn’t where the heart lies; it lies in the body, the people, the teachers and family who are

looking out for me every day. Faith Fellowship Christian School has influenced my walk with

the lord through their teachings, through the personal relations I have with them, and through the

presence of Jesus Christ himself.
