Tutored students twice a week in social studies. Grades of tutees increased by the end of the school year,
and one tutee made a point to mention not only his improved grade but also greater knowledge and
confidence in vocabulary and reading compression.

Planned and taught serval activities for the campers. Lead the campers on day trips and learned how to stay
authoritative outside of a traditional classroom environment. Collaborated with the camp director and other
staff to make activities fun and engaging for all children.

Helped students with their homework. Planned indoor and outdoor activities for students, including sports,
arts and crafts, and games. Learned how to come up with activities on the spot, and be flexible, so that
students remained on task and engaged.
