Product Transition Guide

In October 2011, Cooper B-Line announced the acquisition of TOLCO. The addition of TOLCO’s seismic
bracing and fire protection solutions builds upon Cooper B-Line’s broad solution portfolio in electrical and
mechanical support systems. We are proud to be able to supply our customers with an even broader
product line as a result of the acquisition; at the same time we are taking actions to eliminate duplication
between the two product lines.

The Product Transition Guide is intended to provide information on product availability throughout the
transition of integrating TOLCO into Cooper B-Line. Following are a few highlights regarding the transition
process which helped to shape the guide:

• Most TOLCO brand seismic and fire protection solutions will continue to be manufactured at the
Corona, CA facility and can be ordered using prior TOLCO figure numbers. Labels and stampings will
retain prior TOLCO figure numbers.

• Most TOLCO brand general mechanical parts will assume a Cooper B-Line number and may be
manufactured in either Highland, IL or Corona, CA. Labels and stampings will eventually be converted
to the Cooper B-Line figure number.

• The transition will take place throughout 2012 so parts slated for discontinuation with replacement
or discontinuation without replacement may still be available for a limited time until their inventory is
depleted.
