HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Raffles Maldives Meradhoo is set in the Gaafu Alifu
Atoll, South Maldives, and is surrounded by natural
splendour. After undergoing significant renovations
the resort will re-open as a Raffles branded property
in November 2018, joining the iconic collection of
Raffles hotels and resorts.
The property is located at a 55-minute flight from
Male’ international airport followed by a 15-minute
speed boat ride from Kaadedhdhoo domestic airport.
The resort presently boasts 21 island villas and 16
ocean villas with private pools, three restaurants, a
scenic cocktail bar and an array of facilities and
activities to relax, rejuvenate and reinvigorate the
body, mind and spirit. These include an award
winning luxury spa, private dining options, 24-hour
butler and private chef service.
The hotel has well-appointed leisure facilities with
fully equipped over-the-water fitness center, spa,
swimming pool and a diving center.
MISSION (Role Overview) SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
•  To be overall in control of the finance department

•  Approves all Journal Entries into GL to include
Payroll, A/P, F/A and C/C. •  Good Leadership
•  Review trial balance and approve accounts
reconciliation for BS accounts
•  Reconcile reports with Hyperion and Sun
systems to ensure all in balance (including
statistics)
•  Prepares and assists in preparation of monthly
forecast and annual budget figures, getting input
from Revenue and Other Operating
Departments.
•  Assists the Director of Finance for insurance CONTACT:
matters such as claims follow-up etc.
•  Ensures that all activities are carried out
honestly, ethically and within the parameters of
