5 Pre-Flight Status Check

5.1 Check the following before Powering On


1. Mechanical Part:
a)
Check if the propeller is in good condition, the surface should have no stains
and cracks, whether or not the installation is fastened, make sure the
arrangement of positive and negative propellers are in correct order, turn the
propellers to see if there is any interference or contact between them.

1 Check if there is any jamming occurs when the motor is rotating and whether
or not the motor shaft has any bending.

b) Check if the rack is securely and if the screws are tightened.

Check the battery strap is in good condition, and if the battery is placed
securely.

1 Check if the takeoff is perfectly flat, make sure the I-JAV is in a horizontal
stable status.

e) Check if the tank has any leakage, and make sure the lid if tank is tightened.

wires has no loose.
g) Check if the wire sheath is intact, without any rubbing or surface damages.
h) Check whether the electronic equipment is installed firmly should also ensure that

i) Check the battery has no damage, the outside surface has no swelling and the

5.2 Check the following items after powering on:

a) Check if the sound of ESC indicator is correct


Under normal condition all the ESC will be issued an uniform "sound Tick".

b) Check if any electronic equipment keeps heating. LED may be a little bit warm after long time working.

c) Check if all the indicators are normal


Usually we set the mode to GPS mode, and under this mode to check the LED flashing status, under

7.4 Manual Flight


1. Unlock the unmanned aerial vehicle under the GPS mode

Step2: After arriving the start point of the job, push forward the pitch level more than 15% of the

1 7.6 AB Point Operation Mode

The Operation process is as follows :


1. Fly the Aircraft to point A and record point A.
2. Fly the flight to point B and record point B.
3. Switch to AB mode.
4. The aircraft receives a left / right line break command, and runs according to route L /
route R.

1 Note: AB points can only be recorded in semi-automatic mode or GPS mode

Stepl: Plug the charger to AC power 1 1 OV AC;
Step2: When the charger starts normally, first do the red line to connect the battery ASI 50 head 1 and
charger, connect the black line first, then red line;
Step3: When the AS 150 connector is connected successfully, connect the battery balance head and
charger balance socket;
Step4: After the connection is completed, you can start charging the first battery;

Waring: Charger can charge two batteries at the same time, charging is divided into two channels,

8.3 Battery Maintenance


The battery is in the case of long-term no use (more than three days, you will need to lower down the battery
voltage to 3.8 -v 3.9V).
Battery will be damaged if it is in the non-storage voltage setting for a long time (such as can not charge any
more, battery pack swelling and other issues).
The wire connection for battery maintenance is the same an doing the chargmg process, after proper
connection, long push the maintenance button, the charger will automatically adjust the voltage to the
storage voltage, and each piece of battery voltage will be adjusted to the same

8.4 Battery Precautions:

l . For lithium battery, if the swelling occurs, do not use sharp metal objects
to release the swelling issue, it will cause the battery short circuit and may lead to 1 the battery
explosion or burning.
2. LiPo battery in the cold weather can not play its due performance, if you fly

1 in the winter, before using the battery you may put it in the car for better

condition.

3. Be careful not to let the battery overheating, try to keep the battery

1 temperature in the 40 50 •C or so, can not exceed 60 •C, which can guarantee better battery

life.

1 4. In cold weather (-10 — 5 •C ) environment, lithium battery discharging

9 UAV Maintenance After Flight

1. End of work every day, cleaning spray system: To inject the clean water
