To Whom It May Concern:

It is my honor and privilege to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mr. Reagan
Williams, who is an applicant for the position of Belknap Elementary Principal. I have known
Mr. Williams for a number of years. I was a member of the committee that hired him as a teacher
at Belknap Elementary - I then spent the next few years as his supervising administrator.
Through my experiences with Mr. Williams, he has always exemplified the outstanding character
traits of leadership, integrity, dependability, and responsibility.

Mr. Williams is dedicated and devoted. He sets goals and works hard to achieve them. A perfect
example of this is the completion of a Master’s Degree and Administrative endorsement while
working and raising a family. Mr. Williams is a natural leader. He has a pleasant personality and
doesn’t become frustrated under pressure. He uses excellent problem solving skills in addressing
problems and seeking satisfactory solutions. His insight opens new perspectives to challenging
situations. These personal attributes are valuable assets to him and will be valuable assets to
Belknap Elementary School if he is selected as the Principal.

The classroom discipline in Mr. Williams’ room is a model for any elementary school. The
students in his class understand the importance of following procedures and remaining on task.
Through his high expectations and skillful teaching his students are in an environment for
optimum learning. He would have the same expectations for the staff and student body as
Principal of Belknap Elementary.

Being on the leading edge of educational practices is a high priority to Mr. Williams. He utilizes
data driven instruction in his classroom and identifies those students needing interventions.
Through the skillful use of multiple formative assessments, Mr. Williams has a firm knowledge
of his students’ academic levels. He is then better able to provide the appropriate instruction for
them to achieve the best academic progress possible. If he is selected as the instructional leader,
this knowledge and understanding would be of enormous benefit to the staff and students of
Belknap Elementary.

Mr. Williams has the qualities and leadership skills necessary to be an outstanding Principal at
Belknap Elementary. I have the highest regard for Mr. Williams and ask that you give him your
serious consideration for this position. If you have any further questions, please feel free to
contact me.

Respectfully,

Brady W Fails
Principal, Beaver High School
