Proclaim the Gospel; equip the next generation; mobilize the church throughout the world

July, 2014

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:15

Shalom Prayer Partners and Friends,

Blessings in Messiah Jesus to you. So much is happening now in the nation of Israel. As we write this over 520 rockets
have been fired towards Israel from Gaza. The Israeli Air force has responded to this and sadly many have been wounded
and killed on the Gaza side. Much of this is due to the fact that these terror cells, bunkers, launchers, and underground
tunnels are in public places. On the Israel side although many rockets have fallen thankfully they have either been
intercepted by Iron Dome or landed in open spaces. On both sides, Arab and Israeli, the end is people die. They become
casualties in this war. The media of course capitalize on this situation and give many opinions about Israel or the Arabs.
Of course their opinions are outside the Bible. But in eternity we know that only Jesus, The Messiah is the answer for the
hearts of both Israeli and Arab. The heart of man needs to be born again to see the Father and for true peace to rule his
heart; for both Jews and non Jews as the bible says in Romans 1:16. However, on this temporal world where people do not
know the Lord Jesus in their heart they have no options but to fight to survive. Where there is not hope to hold unto,
people collapse. Jesus spoke of wars and rumors of wars toward the end time of this age. Let us pray for the true peace
found only in Messiah Jesus to go forth in Israel and the Middle East. But we know too what the Bible says is going to
happen and we need to be prepared for that. As believers we need to stay focused on the Master’s voice; Jesus said in
John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Before the war broke out this summer of 2014, we thank God for the great team we had from around the world for the
Pentecost Outreach. We had 2 weeks of outreach in which the team also had the opportunity to camp 3 full days at the Sea
of Galilee to share The Messiah with many Jews and Arabs. People are
hungry for truth and desperate to find answers. We thank God for the team
to lead 2 Jews and 2 Muslims to Messiah Jesus for the forgiveness of sins
and eternal life. Today the follow up is taking place in key congregations
in Israel. Now this is Good News and to God be the glory! Television
News gives you only bad news of death and war and will not give you
daily good news of people coming to know in their heart the Son of God.
The Son of God is not the focus on TV News. Also the team planted the
seed of God’s Word in many hearts of Jews and Arabs in the Land. Please
pray that as the war goes on, they will remember the message and come to
know Him in the heart. This local war is a prelude of the end times. When
the end times come according to the Bible people will remember our
message and will give their hearts to Jesus the Lord and be saved. So your
testimony is important.

We thank God for Olga, a Russian Jewish woman who surrendered her life to Messiah. Pray for Her. We thank God for
Boaz a local Israeli who surrendered his life to the Lord. We thank God for Adam a Sudanese Muslim man who
surrendered his life to the Lord. We thank God for Osama a local Arab who surrendered his life to the Lord. Please pray
for these people in the Land of Israel that they remember their commitment to Messiah and see His hands upon them in
the midst of the fire.

At present we are on the road serving the Lord Jesus. We appreciate your prayers as we are attending Camp Shoshanah a
Messianic Bible Camp, to refresh our hearts in God’s Word in Upper New York State. We are preaching the Gospel at 3
different locations on the weekends, with the local church doing the follow up. Quebec, Canada; Ludlow, Vermont;
Wilmington, New York; and Randolph, Vermont. Thank you for your prayers.
Coming up: Tanzania, East Africa

God willing during the whole month of September 2014 we will conduct an evangelistic campaign with the local churches
to reach out to Masai tribal people in Morogoro. The middle of the month we will minister to the needs of our precious 38
orphans in Mbeya, Tanzania. World Mission Outreach is developing an orphan program in Tanzania to be used elsewhere
in the world in the future. At present we have 38 kids and 1 widow and the program is growing thanks to your prayer and
support. The last part of September we will conduct seminars on evangelism equipping the Tanzania churches in the
north; Kilimanjaro area to prepare the churches for the Jewish outreach. Each year many, many Israelis go to Mount
Kilimanjaro to visit and this is the first time the churches in Tanzania will come together to bring hope to Jews in their
own land. This work takes time to equip the Tanzanian Africans toward this task. But they are willing. To God be the
glory. God will bless that country for making the effort to give Israel what they need the most, to give JESUS THE SON
OF GOD.

Thank you for your continued prayer and support. It helps us to stay focused on bringing the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles
throughout the world. Also please visit the Naomi Ruth Bread of Life Orphan Center website at www.naomiruth.org to
learn more about the children and what you can do to help. We are truly blessed by what the Lord is doing in bringing
together Israel and Tanzania. Our long term vision for these orphans is to have a self sustaining agricultural project and
have Israelis volunteering. We believe this is an open door for dialogue and evangelism. Please pray for this.

TESTIMONY TIME: We also want to just give a quick testimony of what the Lord is doing in regards to divine
appointments. Some of you may remember an orthodox Jew we were meeting in secret for several years. We called him
Nicodemus. We found out last year that we had been meeting 2 brothers without knowing. The first Nicodemus I
(Darlene) met in 2004 and gave a New Testament to. Several months later Henry and I met the brother thinking it was the
same man. We shared with him for years and built a friendship. We knew he was a rabbi and taught at a religious school.
Then last year Henry ran into the first Nicodemus thinking it was the one he knew. We quickly discovered he did not
know Henry but said he knew me. I asked if he was the man I gave a New Testament to in 2004 and he responded, “Yes,
and I read it 29 times”! We were shocked. We asked if he had a twin and he said no, but has a brother that looks like him.
Come to find out both are rabbis and teach at Yeshivas. Just last month the second Nicodemus invited us to his home for
Shabbat. This was truly a gift from God. We met his wife and 5 of his 8 children. We had a blessed evening and I had to
hold back my tears many times that evening thinking about how the Lord reconnected our lives after 10 years. We were
blessed by the love and to watch his interaction with his wife and children and how he blessed each one with a special
prayer. I was thinking what if the brother walked in and saw us, he would be shocked! God is so good and it amazes us
how HE divinely appoints our steps. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve HIM and HIS people. What an
amazing adventure with HIM! Of course it comes with challenges. Family is a big one. Please pray for our unsaved
family. Pray that we will continue to be a light and love with HIS Love for the lost. Pray please that we continue to trust
and obey HIM. We thank God for you and pray His blessing over you. May you be in His perfect will. Thank you for your
prayers and your financial support which keep us on the field. Together we are serving and accomplishing His will.
Remember, the harvest is ripe but workers few. Let us continue to pray for the workers.

With much love in HIM,

Henry and Darlene M.
