Market commentary
The benchmark indices ended on positive note but off day's high on the back of
selling pressure seen in the last hour of trading. The Sensex up 284.20 points at
35463.08, and the Nifty up 83.70 points at 10768.40.All the sectoral indices ended
in positive territory with a gain of 0.5-1.5 percent gain. All the sectoral indices

ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Wipro, India bulls housing and Asian Paints are the top
gained in the indices. European markets traded higher as investors anticipated a

Crompton Greaves is trending consolidation on its weekly price chart post its
correction during the previous session and took a strong short-term support at Rs
220 levels. Despite a weak market breadth, the scrip managed to decisively
breakout from its short-term crucial level placed Rs 230 coupled with strong
volume growth above its daily average levels.Crompton Greaves is trending

On the weekly price chart, the Crompton Greaves registered a strong bullish
candlestick pattern coupled with the solid bullish pattern on last closing session,
indicating a positive signal. The MACD indicated a positive crossover coming in
next few sessions.
Market Highlights
 Tata Motors, India’s largest vehicle manufacturer, on Thursday said that it
proposes to raise funds of about USD 250-500 million through external
commercial borrowing (ECB).All proceeds will be used towards refinancing
a part of the principal amount of the borrower's notes as permitted under
the ECB directions. Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported a rise of
6.1 percent in May sales to 48281 units driven by the introduction of new
models including the Range Rover Velar, the Jaguar E-PACE and the new
Land Rover Discovery. While Land Rover retail sales rose 6 percent to
33,774 units during May while Jaguar sales increased by 6.6 percent to
14,507 units. During the January-May period, JLR sales increased 1.6
percent to 188,443 units.
 The Ministry of Women and Child Development has decided to join hands
with international agencies to strengthen mechanism for online lodging of
cybercrime complaints against child sexual abuse materials. The step has
been taken by the Maneka Gandhi-led ministry to curb cybercrime against
women and children, particularly the elimination of online child sexual
abuse material, rape imagery and other offensive material.
 Oil meals export declined by 33 percent to 97,036 tons last month on
lower global demand, according to industry data. The overall export during
April-May 2018 fell by 8 percent at 3, 21,179 tons compared to 348222
tons in the corresponding period of the previous year, the Solvent
Extractors' Association of India (SEA) said in a statement. Rapeseed meal
exports increased to nearly 1.43 lakh tons in first two months. During April-
May 2018.
