A building-level education leader applies knowledge that promotes the success of every student by collaborating with faculty and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources on behalf of the school by collecting and analyzing information pertinent to improvement of the school’s educational environment; promoting an understanding, appreciation, and use of the diverse cultural, social, and intellectual resources within the school community; building and sustaining positive school relationships with families and caregivers; and cultivating productive school relationships with community partners. In so doing, the building level leader ensures effective and ample use of technology in collaborating with faculty and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources.

Element (Course) 4.1 School I created power points for School Improvement every School Improvement Improvement presentations meeting held for each level- meetings elementary/middle/high. Power points contained goals for the day, important dates and links to sites we would be using. 4.1 Leadership Team I participate in monthly Leadership notes leadership meetings with K- team meetings 12 Administrators, Central Office Administrators and Special Service Administrators. Most of the meetings have updates on district goals, budget and equity. 4.1 District Representatives for various District improvement levels meet bi-monthly to improvement notes review district improvement meetings goals, data and identifying/revising strategies for the following year. 4.2 Strategic I participated in the Strategic Strategic 4.3 planning notes Planning Committee from Team 4.4 May- June 2017. This group 4.5 was tasked to create large district goals in the area of Curriculum/Instruction, Culture, Finance/Resources and Community Relations. 4.1 Program I collaborated with a group to EA747-Action 4.2 Evaluation complete a program Research II 4.3 evaluation on Professional 4.4 Learning Communities in an elementary school. This evaluation gave me greater insight on principal impact on PLC’s, professional learning essential for implementation and the impact on student achievement. 4.1 Four Frames In this assignment I EA740-School 4.2 Analysis developed a greater as a Formal 4.3 understanding of school Organization organization. 4.1 Budget Meeting In this assignment I reflected EA8840- 4.2 Analysis on my experiences School participating in budget Business conversations with district Management administration and proposals to the Board of Education.
