By: Bettina Dinglasan and Francine Cabrera

A.) How acid rain is formed

Acid rain is formed when sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides go in the air. These can go high into
the atmosphere and mix with water, oxygen and other chemicals to make acid rain.

B.) Harmful effects of acid rain

The effects of acid rain are seen in aquatic environments where it can be harmful to fishes and
other wildlife. Some acidic lakes have no fish. Even if a species or animal can moderately tolerate
acidic water, the animals or plants it eats might not.\
