Linux System Administrator

service providers worldwide in shaping their services innovation. We offer solutions for IP mobile
messaging, Call Completion, convergence management, virtual numbers and social telephony,
convergent charging, conferencing, virtual contact center solutions, call control and routing. The
company is headquartered in Paris (France), with subsidiaries in Romania, the US, Tunisia, China and

We build complex software solutions, having a lot of challenges surrounding the high load nature of the
Telecom business. We are actively involved in platform optimization and scalability of our products.
Some of the technologies and services we use are Red Hat Linux, PHP, MySQL (with replication), Apache,
Nginx, Redis, Memcached, APIs (both as a provider and a consumer, including XML-RPC, JSON-RPC and
SOAP)

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Operations Engineer to join our team. You'll be
integrated in a strong team working on exciting projects based on state of the art technologies.

You deal with technical tasks related to live and staging platforms, handling system installation,
configuration, testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution, day-to-day monitoring, documentation and
maintenance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar technical environment
• Master/Bachelor degree in Telecom – Network – Computing – is a plus

Technical expertise
• System Maintenance and Administration on Linux (RedHat is highly desired): Installation and
configuration (RHCE certification is a plus)
• Ansible experience is a plus
• Scripting: Bash (Python is a plus)
• Web servers Configuration (Apache)
• Database Administration: MySQL
• High Availability Clustering (Pacemaker/Corosync/DRBD) – is a plus
• Networking: TCP/IP protocols and network architectures (CCNA certification is a plus)
• Virtualization solutions (vSphere/KVM/Openstack) knowledge is a plus
• Basic telecommunications concepts and protocols knowledge(SIP/RTP): is a plus
• Mail server (postfix) – administration/configuration - is a plus
• DNS server – administration – is a plus

Key Responsibilities
• Creates scripts, debugs, and documents application programs and systems level automation
(Ansible)
• Writes technical documentation to describe the installation, maintenance and migration process
• Implements solutions, enhancements and configurations based on existing platform
• Handles live platform software updates
• Provide support for the Live platforms Level 2 problems (optional)
