Photo Project 20
Texture

This picture is first in my portfolio because it is one of my favorites photos of my dog, Luna. I
used Picmonkey to add a layered editing mask to the photo to make the photo look as if it's on
top of a brick wall. This particular edit is called "ediface". This photo edit turned a great photo
into a better photo. There are several layering edits that can be added to photos. It's very
interesting to test layering edits on photos to transform them.
Exposure information: 1/125 Shutter Speed, f5.6, Iso 200
Photo Project 3
Depth of Field

I included both of these photos to compare depths of field in the photos and because it was
selected to be one of the faces on the wall at Foundations Orthodontics. The photo on the left has
a decreased depth of field placing the focal point in front and the opposite for the second photo.
This photo was taken at one of my favorite photo spots in which I used for more than one
project.

Exposure Information: Automatic shutter speed, f/2 and f/22, Automatic Iso

Speed

This photo was selected to describe speed in photos. I included this shot because I take several
photos at my daughter's games. The last chapter of our book provided insight to shooting
sporting events. The goal is to have the shutter speed fast enough for the viewer to know that the
people were in motion. After reading this last chapter, I learned that the best photos are taken
from shooting from different angles instead of from the same position or location.

Exposure information: f1.8, Iphone X Standard ISO and shutter speed

Night Photography

This photo was taken close to one of my favorite spots, "The Fox Theater". I used the Procam
app on my iphone to capture this. The Procam app allowed me to use my phone to add the slower
shutter speed that was needed so the background and focal points would be clear. The lights on
the freeway and buildings caused the picture to be slightly overexposed. There was no flash used
which would have made the picture very blurry.

Exposure Information: Shutter Speed 1/8 of a second, f/1.8, and ProCam auto ISO
Photo Project 12
Deconstructed Landscape

These photos that I selected for my deconstructed landscape project were taken at a historical
spot in my hometown of Cedartown, Georgia. These photos are part of the famous "Trail of
Tears". I used a layering edit from Picmonkey for these photos to give them a uniform color. The
uniform color makes the photos relate more to each other and the viewer can immediately
identify the connections. The I added the green border to enhance the layering edit.

Exposure Information: F8, Shutter Speed 1/80, ISO 100

Creative Self-Portraits

These creative self- portraits were fun to do. My daughter helped me with ideas for this. They are
not the usual "selfies" that are taken without any thought or creativity. The first photo is a
recreation of a previous photo of my husband and I. The second one is a "selfie" within a selfie.
A zoom lens was used for both pictures to give the "macro" photo effect.
Exposure information: Photo 1 F8, 1/200 ISO 100- Photo 2 F9, 1/320, ISO 100. f8,
