Introduction
ACME IT Ltd. is one of the leading IT institutes of Bangladesh. Its overall policies & rules
are universal. Our content is focused on all the rules & regulation of ACME IT Ltd. It has
also shown a SWOT analysis of organization.
All countries of the world and every company review their county’s company’s
policies frequently. This is usually because they want to keep track of any changes in
the policies and there legality. Bangladesh is no exception.
Company’s policies should be observed carefully to know what is good and what is
not and the company should be extra careful with the legal facts too. The present
study will mainly focus on the rules & regulation of ACME IT Ltd.
Research Approach
For the convenience of the study, we took the descriptive research approaches to
conduct the study.
Source of Data
Both primary and secondary data were used in this study. But the report is mainly
based on data from primary sources. The primary data were collected from a face to
face interview of Mr. A. S. M. Zuker Nain DCM ACME IT Ltd. Barisal RRC and Mr. Md.
Saiful Azam Tuhin Faculty Tuhin faculty networking Acme It ltd. and secondary data
were collected from various reports, periodicals and research articles.
Research Instrument
The survey was conducted by a structured questionnaire as research instrument to
collect the primary data for the samples. Open ended questions were used to design
the questionnaire. Data and information thus collected both from the primary and
secondary sources have been assessed and analyzed by us using our analytical skills.

Here ACME IT Ltd. has used a complex vertical line organogram. This organogram is
a mix of parallel organogram and straight line organogram.
Core people
Though ACME IT Ltd. is a part of ACME group of Companies Ltd. it has
an individual existence. As a result there is a completely different or distinct
managing committee for it.

The functional managing committee is basically a three member committee
which includes Executive Director of ACME IT Ltd. who is also a board member of
ACME group of companies. Others include ACME IT in-charge and technical head.
On basis of expertise decision the committee is extended to four or five
members. These extended members are Marketing Head and Deputy Center Manager.
Recruitment Process
For faculty
1. A man power recitation is given to Technical Head of ACME IT Ltd.
2. The Technical Head forwards this request to his superiors.
3. After clearance of his superiors the Technical head arranges vacancy
advertisements, which are published in their official web site,
bdjobs.com and at all of the regional centers.
4. Next the responded CVs are skinned out.
5. Then selected candidates are called for interview.
6. Two written tests are arranged for primary selection of candidates.
7. All selected candidates are asked to take demonstration classes at
different centers.
8. Next the candidates are called for a face to face viva interview. In this
case the four member interview board will consist Executive Director
ACME IT, ACME IT in-charge, Technical head ACME IT, Marketing
head ACME IT and Deputy center Manager ACME IT.
9. The eligible candidate(s) are finally called to join their respective posts.

head ACME IT and Deputy Center Manager ACME IT.
9. The eligible candidate(s) are finally called to join their respective posts.
Employee Management
There is no retirement plan for any level of employee of the organization. But
only 1st class employees of ACME IT Ltd. do get the privilege of some facilities like
rent, health, entertainment etc.
The reporting time for all employees of the organization is 1000 hrs (10 AM)
and the working hours are between 1000 hrs to 1900 hrs (10 AM-7 PM). Friday is the
weekly holiday of this organization. Late reporting is considered as casual leave of
this organization. An attendance register is maintained to record the reporting time of
the employees.
These training programs are held locally & internationally. The company also
hires highly qualified trainers both foreign and local for the training programs held
Negotiation Process
This resource is too much classified to be discoursed in public as a
result we haven’t been enlightened by the subject.
Job Security
All employees must go through a probation period of six months. After finishing the
probation period the employees must continue an addition six months service and
after one year an employee is considered to be permanent. No compulsory
retirement.
There is no contract between the employee and ACME IT Ltd. which causes a high
risk position for both employee and ACME IT Ltd. ACME IT Ltd can fire its
employee at will and again the employee can resign at will. This is a lesson that
Grameen Phone Ltd. learned the hard way when Waridtelecom Ltd. entered the
market and drained several of GP’s skilled employees. As a result the company is
now maintaining a least five year contract with its employees.
SWOT
The SWOT analysis of the company is as given bellow
Due to confidentiality we did not receive appropriate information about the security
system of ACME IT Ltd. But as we have witnessed we may say that the head
quarter’s security system is a multi layer security system and can be said a well
organized one. But as the security priority of Barisal branch is low the branch uses a
single layer security system. This design is appropriate for the branch as it faces small
security threats like common theft.
As far as we are concerned some minor drawbacks are noticed in the organization’s
policies which we have already denoted. Except the international labor law which is
usually not implemented in our country the company has not violated any other laws.
So we can say that it a near perfect organization.
