If you have played Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed or LeafGreen,


you know that pokemon have innate abilities which have an effect Ability: Chlorophyll
on their battling. Some pokemon have one possible ability, while In Battle Effect: During Sun, this pokemon's speed is doubled
others have two possible abilities. In most cases, the ability Out of Battle Effect: None
will be something beneficial, while in a few, it serves no battle Pokemon with this potential ability:
purpose, and in one distinct instance, it hinders the pokemon in Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume,

What is new in Emerald, which inspired this guide, is that many
abilities now have out-of-battle effects. Therefore, I have made
this guide which details both in- and out-of-battle effects of the Ability: Clear Body
various abilities. After the ability list, I have also added a In Battle Effect: This pokemon's stats cannot be lowered by an
