Installing Simslink v44  

  
1. Go to ​www.eduspot.co.uk​ ​and click on the blue '​Sign In​' button in the top right  
2. Log in to Teachers2Parents using your SchoolMoney username and password  
3. Select the '​Text Message Service​'  
4. Click A ​ dmin​ then the S ​ et up Sims​ tab  
5. Click the ‘​Simslink 44’ Link​ then ​Run​ when prompted (if it downloads, open the download then 
Run)  
6. Click R ​ un ​on the​ ‘Publisher cannot be verified’ ​message  
7. The T2P Simslink window should appear, enter ​T2P​ username & password, then click then R ​ un  
8. Sims.net link window will appear, enter S ​ ims.net​ username & password, click ​Ok  
9. In the Simslink window it will say it’s R ​ unning.. Importing… Running…   
10. When it has finished, it will say C ​ ompleted Import (OR ​a browser window will appear asking you 
to C​ lick to Complete​ after you have clicked the box it will confirm the import has ‘​Finished… you 
can close this window’​, close the browser window).  
11. Click S ​ ave​ on the Simslink window, then ​Ok​ on the pop up then close the Simslink window  
12. (If you see a program compatibility message, click the option ​The Program Installed correctly​)  
13. You should now have an icon on the Desktop called ​t2p_v44​,​ ​you can double click this icon to run 
the update again. The t​ 2p_v44 ​should also be in the Startup folder (to check, go to Start menu > All 
Programs > Startup)  
  
If when you install a SIMS link, you get a consol Error (2 windows, a blank window above another with an 
error saying ‘Consol error, couldn’t load Library...’) you will need to set the Link up manually: 
 
1. Close the 2 error windows 
2. Press Windows key & R to open the Run window, in the text field type ‘%appdata%’ then click OK 
3. Application Data window should appear, open T2PSimslink folder 
4. Right click on t2p1_ v44.exe, select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) then close the window. 
5. Go to Desktop and right click the t2p1_v44 shortcut and Copy 
6. Press Windows Key and R to open the Run window, type in ‘shell:startup’ then click 
7. Ok 
8. The Startup folder will appear. Right click in the window and Paste the shortcut. 
9. Close the window. 
10. On Desktop double click the t2p1_v44 icon, fill T2P Username and Password then Run, fill in Sims 
Username and Password and click Ok... Save and close when completed.
