What is “We Listen To You”

➢ Macauto is committed to a work environment where employees feel


comfortable, safe and productive.

➢ We Listen To You is Macauto´s employee compliance hotline that


should be used to report fraud, harassment, discrimination, financial
misconduct, or specific violations to Macauto´s Code of Conduct.

➢ All investigations are handled with confidentiality in mind. We are also


committed to an environment where employees feel comfortable in
reporting any concerns without fear of retaliation and take precautions
to ensure that this does not occur. Human Resources team recognizes
that the decision to report a concern can be difficult. The Company will
not tolerate harassment or retaliation of any kind against a reporting
party when complaints are made in good faith.

employee, contractor, or third-party the ability to file a violation report.

When to submit a report
➢ You should use We Listen To You to report claims of inappropriate contact,
employee theft, threats of violence, fraud, harassment, discrimination, financial
misconduct, etc.

➢ We Listen To You should not be used to report the following issues:


• Operations issues: Some Operations Issues are considered as but not limited
to safety equipment complaints, missing equipment, operations activity
complaints, facilities, housekeeping, time off requests and schedule changes,
unhappy with shift, unhappy with policies change, ergonomic needs, site
temperature, lost badges, missing time punches, etc. Those types of issues
should be reported using your escalation internal process.
• Behavior issues: Some Behavior issues are considered as but not limited to
supervisors being rude, unprofessional, unwilling to listen, etc. Those types of
issues should be reported using your escalation internal process.

➢ All this are examples of instances that should be discussed with the local
management or human resources team. If there are any questions about what
type of concerns you should report to the line, feel free to consult with your
supervisor, manager, or human resources representative prior to submitting your
report.

What can you expect when you submit a report

➢ You will receive a report number following your call. Make sure you write
down and keep the report number, as it is your link back to your case. With
this number, you can recall to upload related documents, update your report
statements, and check the status of your case. It is recommended that all
reports are checked within 2-3 business days after submission.

➢ If you choose to make a report without disclosing your identity, this may limit
our ability to take prompt and immediate action. This may also limit our
ability to conduct a full and complete investigation. If you do decide to
remain anonymous, please make sure to provide as much information as
possible in your report (who, what, when, where, why/how) to better assist
in the investigative process. You will be able and encouraged to check your
report within 2-3 business days for updates.

➢ In most cases, the details of an investigation are considered confidential in


nature and will not be shared. There are some scenarios, however, that
require disclosure of more detail. In either instance, a response will be
provided to you via e-mail.
