Application fee:
€ 3,000 per paper mill including the pulps made and used only in the
same paper mill. Pulps from other pulp mills must be inspected and
listed before the application is ­approved.
Renewal of licence:
€ 1,500 per paper mill including the pulps made and used in the
same paper mill. Pulps from other pulp mills must be inspected and
listed before the application is approved.
Annual Nordic licence fees:
0,15 % + VAT of the turnover in the Nordic countries up to
€ 20,000,000.
0,05 % + VAT of the part of the turnover in the Nordic countries that
exceeds € 20,000,000.
Minimum fee:
€ 2,000.
Maximum fee:
€ 100,000.
Fee outside the Nordic region:
Annual licence fee outside the Nordic countries (for licence holders
with a turnover of more than 300 000 EUR of Nordic Swan ecola-
belled products, sold outside the Nordic countries): € 2,000
If the Nordic Swan ecolabelled products are only sold outside the
Nordic countries, a minimum fee is always charged.

Fees for inspection visit
Application fee:
€ 3,000 per production site for market pulps and fluff.
€ 0 if the pulp is only used in the same integrated pulp and paper/board
production site where the pulp is produced. Then the application and listing fee in
My Swan Account (MSA) is included in the fees of Nordic Ecolabelled paper or
Inspected Paper/Board.
Listing fees:
All pulps must be listed in MSA. For integrated pulp (the listing fee in MSA is
included in the Nordic Ecolabel paper licence fee or the listing fee of the Inspected
Paper/Board). If the applicant also chooses to list the pulp on the public Nordic
Ecolabel web site, the listing in MSA will not be charged.
Annual listing fee in My Swan Account for market pulps/fluff:
€ 750 per production site. A listing fee will not be charged during the year of
application for inspection.
Annual listing fee on the Nordic Ecolabel website:
€ 2,000 per production site. A listing fee will not be charged during the year of
application for inspection.

charged during the year of application.
Listing of boards inspected according to criteria generation 3 is voluntary.

€ 3,000 per board mill (paperboard for disposables, fluting or kraft liner) including
the pulps made and used only in the same paper mill. The pulps from other pulp
mills have to be inspected and listed before the application is approved.
Annual listing fee in My Swan Account:
€ 750 per board mill (paperboard for disposables, fluting or kraft liner). A listing
fee will not be charged during the year of application of inspection.
