ADAMAWA STATE.
Our firm AMZIK INTEGRATED (NIG) LIMITED wishes to send
you this proposal with a view of training the local government
administrators and legislatures in various areas of local government
administration and legislation across the twenty one local
governments of the state.

funded directly from source by the local government councils through

informal educational environments. He is currently being assisted
with two professors of Management and Administration & Policy.

Motel Complex, Plot 901, Utako District, Abuja and a branch office
at No. 157F Muritala Mohammed Road, New Layout, Lokoja, Kogi
state.

Its objectives among others is to carry out the business of training,


research and feasibility studies of all kinds with a view to rendering

governments & governmental agencies and the general public who
may need such services.
The firm’s ownership structure is purely indigenous professionals in
various fields of endeavours. Where necessary, the firm often
partners with foreign experts who are usually hired for specific and
specialized jobs and their remunerations are usually on a
commission basis.

THE TRAINING ASSIGNMENT
RATIONALE:
Local Government Administrators generally, needs regular
training and re-training and perhaps even after working for over
thirty years receive the news of retirement with mixed feelings
arising from lack of foresight during working life. Pre-
retirement training no doubt, would eliminate this post-
retirement frustration induced thoughts.

OBJECTIVES:
If our firm is given the opportunity, at the end of the workshop,
we would have been able to make the participants;
- More relevant in their various posts,
- Create a better working relationship between executive and
legislature
- prepare and accept the reality of retirement when the time
comes,

- learn the art of consciousness and devotion on government
business with a view of enhancing productivity and efficient

SCOPE OF WORK

Our major objective is to contribute to the actualization of the


Millennium Development Goals. Our firms, using experienced
Computers, Lecturers in Administration & Business and
Statistics, political Science, employ three basic approaches;
- Organizational Analysis to determine where within the
Board training emphasis can be placed,
- Operational Analysis to determine what should be the
content of training in terms of what an employee must
contribute to achieving the Millennium Development
Goals as relates to your state.
- Man Analysis to determine what additional skills,
knowledge or attitude an employee must develop if
he/she is to perform better, the tasks which constitute
his job in the Ministry, Department or unit.

Assessing and determining the training needs by our firm would


involve the following major activities:

RESEACH DESIGN
As stated in the scope under the scope of work, a scientific
method will be adopted to;
- Carry out where each region; department; section or unit
requires training
- Determine what type of training is required for each level of
manager/administrator.
- Determine what additional skills, knowledge or attitude the
admnistrators required to perform better.
Through methods of observation and investigation and data
obtained, our team shall attempt to provide answers to some
basic research questions such as;
- What account for the general poor performance of administators
in the sector?
- What are the other major possible ways be which local
governments can generate funds?
- The extent to which productivity has been influenced by socio-
economic factors.
- In what ways can expenditure be controlled to the barest
minimum while still maintaining productivity and efficiency?
