Universal shall provide the following services as part of it’s “Closing”

 lower the water of the pool to its appropriate winter level when applicable.
 disassemble and/or disconnect one filter and one circulation pump where applicable
 hose clean filter elements or grids and store them on customer’s property (customer must indicate storage site)
 remove all time dogs, gauges, and petcocks. Installation of equipment winterizing plugs where applicable
 blow and plug all plumbing lines as applicable (winterizing plugs are not included)
 install expansion bottle in each skimmer and turn off gas lines going into the heater.

□ Mesh Cover - secure a cover with anchors. The customer shall be responsible for maintaining 60.00 WILL RECEIVE
water level and pool chemistry over the winter. (Cable and Foxx covers 30.00 extra) A $15
□ Solid Cover - secure cover with water bags, or anchors, as applicable. The customer shall be 75.00 DISCOUNT
responsible for removing water, leaves, and debris over the winter. Universal shall not be
responsible for covers that come off due to rain, water bags draining, or collapsing.
□ Extra Pump - extra pumps and additional lines will be winterized 15.00
□ Spa/Pool Combination - applicable when a pool and spa share a filter system 25.00
□ Additional Pump & Filter - applicable for a separate filter system (at pool closing only) 120.00
□ Closing Vacuum - Pools should be free of debris at closing. Universal will NOT cover a 85.00
debris filled pool. Please indicate if you want your pool vacuumed. If Universal must vacuum
the pool, the customer will be billed accordingly.
□ In-floor Cleaner - pools with in-floor cleaning systems require more time and materials to 40.00
properly winterize. This charge is per actuator.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

□ Filter Cleaning - your filter elements/grids will be taken for degreasing and descaling 75.00
□ Salt Generators - your salt cell will be taken for cleaning and descaling 65.00
CHEMICAL PACKAGES

□ WINTER CHEMICAL KIT A - treats up to 25K gallons. Larger pools may require two kits. 50.00
Winter Shock, Algaecide, Stain Inhibitor, and Anti Freeze. FOR SOLID COVERS ONLY!!
□ WINTER CHEMICAL KIT B - treats up to 25K gallons. Larger pools may require two kits. 70.00
Winter Shock, Algaecide, Stain Inhibitor, Anti Freeze, and a Winter Chlorine Floater. THESE TOTAL

 WINTER WATCH
Your pool may be closed for the Winter, but it still
needs attention. As the old saying goes “An ounce of
prevention is worth a pound of cure” and this is espe-
cially true of swimming pools. That’s why Universal of-
fers our Winter Watch Service!

Customer’s who have taken advantage of our Winter

Watch service have noticed their pool Spring opening
is cleaner, quicker, and requires less start up chemicals
and maintenance. Also, through regular lowering of the
water you significantly reduce the chance of freeze
damage to your pool’s tile line. This can save you thousand’s of dollars in repairs and renova-
tion.

During these visits we lower the water as necessary, remove water and debris from the cover,
and adjust the water’s chemistry. We time these visits to coincide with your pool’s Spring open-
ing, further reducing an algae bloom prior to opening.

The Winter Watch service is available for $395 (any necessary chemicals are an additional
cost), and includes four visits to your pool.
