Over the last year, I have been consulting with major US Fortune 500 pharma client during my tenure

at ZS Associates. The process of brainstorming with Sales Director, field reps and sales leaders, solving
complex real business problems unique to the US pharmaceutical industry must be one the most
significant accomplishments of my life so far. Management consultants solve pressing issues that
impact almost every industry in the economy. A career in consulting would provide me with an
opportunity to create tangible impact. Working in a team with some of the most intelligent and
motivated people ensures that the learning curve is steep and never ending. Finally, consulting gives
me with the unique opportunity to work in different industry verticals thus providing flexibility and
exposure.

I’m enthusiastic about making a career in consulting after IIM Kozhikode and Konsult would provide
me an ideal platform to help sharpen my analytical problem solving and research skills. My methodical
approach to solving intricate problems coupled with a strong academic research background puts me
in a unique position to provide value for Konsult as an interest group.

I can think out-of-the-box while weighing all options objectively. During my internship with HUL, I
devised solutions for debottlenecking a drying process and presented my leaders to senior directors
at HUL. My experience as a coordinator with national technical and sport fests with 1000+ footfall has
helped me extract my potential as a leader. Apart from the ability to handle pressure and being a team
player, my biggest takeaway was to warrant that the capacity of the forthcoming teams is built while
ensuring that the timelines and quality for the work at hand is not compromised.

The induction talks by Konsult made it clear that Konsult believes in creating an atmosphere of learning
and creative problem solving at IIM-K through multiple case competitions, talks and presentations. I
believe I can create value for Konsult and grow further as an individual
