Suggestions & Recommendations for Improvement of MEAs Working

Mr. Nadir Niazi Provincial Monitoring Officer visited different areas of concerned districts & gave
following suggestions and recommendations for improvement of MEAs working.

Muzaffargarh:

District Muzaffargarh consists of Four Tehsils i.e Muzaffargarh, Ali Pur, Jatoi & Kot addu.
In following Tehsils, BHUs and RHCs are situated in far flung areas. Mostly the roads are not in good
conditions and MEAs have to visit about 200 KM on the daily basis during their field activities. So it is
suggested to provide Honda CG-125 to all four MEAs for smooth conduction of visits.

Bhakkar:

Following BHUs are situated in desert areas where access on CD-70 is very difficult I.e BHU
LITTEN, BHU MAHNI, BHU DAGGAR KOTLY, BHU GOHAR WALA, BHU CHAK 73 M/L, BHU JHAMMAT
SHUMALI, BHU SHAHEEDAN, BHU JEHAN WALA, BHU CHAK 63 D/B etc.

Layyah:

Most of the areas of Layyah are consist of desert and MEAs have to travel about 150-200 KM on
the daily basis. It is difficult for them to travel on Honda DD-70 Bike.

DG Khan:

DG Khan consists of Mountains where it is difficult for MEAs to reach on the BHUs and RHCs. So
it is requested to provide Honda CG-125 for smooth funcitioning.

RajanPur:

Rajanpur is the mixed district with desert and mountains. It is also difficult for MEAs to visit the
health facilities on the old bikes.

Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and RahimYar Khan:

Bahawalpur Division is famous in the world due to Rohi

Desert and other areas. The Health facilities are situated in the far flung areas. So in this situation, it is
really need of Honda CG-125 for smooth conduction of visits.

In most of the districts and in meetings as well, MEAs demand new bikes and new tabs because the
current tabs and bikes were purchased four years ago. This issue really affecting the MEAs work
efficiency. So it is suggested and strongly recommended that please provide bikes Honda CG-125 to all
MEAs of my Districts.
