Course Outcomes: Through this course students should be able to

• Interpret the provisions of Intellectual Property Laws

• Compare the protection under different intellectual property laws.

• Apply the provisions for protecting intellectual property at international level.

Introduction of Intellectual Property Rights : origin and development of
intellectual property, concept of corporeal and incorporeal property, meaning and
concept of different kinds of intellectual property, TRIPS Agreement
Unit II
