Introduction:
In plants sound is transmitted in the form of waves that travel
through a medium such as air and water the waves cause the
sound cause to vibrate in the air that cause vibration. Marigold
have daisy-like or double, carnation-like flowerheads and are
produced singly or in clusters. Marigolds thrive in full sunshine
can often withstand very hot summers.

Statement of the problem
Does music affect plant growth?
How music can help plant growth?
What types of music can help plant growth
Objectives
General Objective
Test to see if you can detect any difference between plants that have been
exposed to classical, heavy metal, punk, or Indian sitar music by exposing
plants to different genres. (Don’t forget to take the variable of the heat
emitted from the speaker into consideration!)
If you place a plant in a noisy area, does it seem to respond differently
than a plant in a quieter spot? (This works best if all other variables are
the same: same type of plant, same sun and water exposure, etc.)
Specific Objective
To know how music will affect the growth of the plant.
To know that music can affect the growth of the marigold plant.
