INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

Responsibilities:

 ¨ Assist with the rehabilitation of workers after accidents or injuries and make
sure they experience a satisfactory return to work.
 ¨ Conduct Gas testing at regular intervals to check the quality of air in the site to
prevent health hazards.
 ¨ Perform audit on Work permit, Excavation authorization and confined space
entrance.
 ¨ Prepare health and safety strategies and developing internal policy.
 ¨ Prepared procedure to disposing waste generated like excavated soil, house
hold waste, sewage, industrial waste etc through proper waste manifest to meet
the M/S.JUMBO FIRE WORKS (P)LTD regulations. Conducted random
inspection to check that the procedure is followed correctly and the waste are
dumped at the designated locations.
 ¨ Study and develop employment health and safety plans and keep informed all
employees.
 ¨ Trained employees in proper use and care of personal protective equipment.
Ensured the required personal protective equipment is in stock with respect to
the no of employees present in the site.
 ¨Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of the
occupational health and safety program.
 ¨Conduct monthly campaign on safety topics and present awards to selected
employees based on their behavior and how they implement safety in their daily
work.
 ¨Inspect machinery and equipment, including lifting devices, portable electrical
tools, portable machine tools and scaffolding, to make sure they meet safety
regulations.
  ¨Investigate accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and
recommend remedial action. Ensure the remedial actions are implemented within
the stipulated time frame.
 ¨Prepare Job safety analysis and Risk Assessment based on method statements
to minimize the hazards and their risk.
 ¨Work as a team along with other professionals to ensure the safety of worksite.
 Auditing all sub contractors on a regular basis
 Conducting continuous training to all staff in safety procedures and work
practices
