COLREG Courseware
Rules of the Road
This COLREG Courseware provides all material for
learning or reiterating the Convention on the
International Regulations for Preventing Colli-
sion at Sea (1972 COLREGs), quoted by the Inter-
national Maritime Organization, IMO.
The whole COLREG Course is implemented in a single “Book”
1861-1-en
Running and reviewing tests in realistic 3D contexts
provided by the SimFlex Navigator simulator employ
the knowledge and understanding obtained. The
courseware is designed and implemented for naviga-
tional students and is suited for self-study.
Explanatory comments, illustrations, animations, and
sounds are displayed along with the original
COLREG, also referred to as Rules of the Road.
Attached simulations containing realistic learning and
testing scenarios, collaborate learning and exercising
aspects, which enhance the educational outcome.
