Melinda,

From SR 475 (Airport Road) to Grant Ferry:

Construc,on Cost in 2014 dollars = $30M (actually $29.789M)

ROW Cost = $1M
U,lity Cost = $250K
________________
Total = $31M for ROW, u,li,es, and construc,on

Construc,on cost includes adding a lane in each direc,on for 4.3 miles, removing the exis,ng bridge at the
abandoned RR, and widening the bridges over Flowood Drive.

We should discuss the frontage road. A\ached are two concepts. The construc,on es,mate for the frontage
road concept parallel to Lakeland which takes traffic to the next cross-over to the east is $500K, but the ROW
and u,lity cost may be high and its loca,on may not be acceptable. A signal would need to be added at that
cross-over adding $250K to the cost. A frontage road to the east will take trees from the first house in the
subdivision. Since that house and lot is so large, I doubt taking trees from them would be acceptable.

Please let me know if you want to discuss the frontage road or need es,mates for the Grant Ferry to SR 471
por,on.

Thank you,
Amy

Melinda,

Wes did not think simply adding the signal was the best solu,on. He preferred the extension of LafayePe
Lane through the vacant lot.
