Expedition Strategies conducted 402 total interviews in Missouri's 2nd Congressional District from August
23 - 26, 2018, with a sample of likely general election voters. The margin of error for overall results
is ±4.90%.
Cort VanOstran is now leading in the campaign for Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District. President
Trump is a significant political drag on Congresswoman Wagner in this suburban district, just as he is in
several other similar districts nationwide. Wagner’s problems are compounded by her own weak political
standing, which is comparable to that of President Trump.
VanOstran leads Wagner by +2% on the initial ballot (43% VanOstran; 41% Wagner; 1% Kirk; 0% Arnold,
and 14% undecided).

Only 41% of district voters are favorable toward Congresswoman Wagner and 39% view her unfavorably.
